tyler the creator, pixies, other björk albums

>other björk albums
thanks i already have all her other albums, just not on my pc.
don't really like Tyler but I like Earl and also have his albums.

i will check out pixies.

bob dylan, kate bush, other beach boys albums, talk talk, van morrison

oh also julia holter

>bob dylan

i've always been curious about him but his discography is pretty daunting..
is there anywhere I should start? or just start at the beginning?

i'll check the others thanks.

Start at Highway 61.

Listen to Blonde on Blonde.

Then quit. The rest of his material is unbearably terrible.

You need some Kanye in your life, fampai

thanks, i'll do that, but if I really like those i will probably end up delving deeper into his material.
This is how I got into Elvis.

>not including freewheelin, bringing it all back home, and blood on the tracks

what he said + freewheelin, bringing it all back home, and blood on the tracks

>Kanye
no thanks. and I do like Rap but most of my albums are hundreds of CDs starting at EPMD and cut off around like Carter 3.
I haven't listened to recent rap for years.

The lack of Radiohead bothers me.
In Rainbows is easy to get into. So is OK Computer. Their whole discography is interesting to explore (minus Pablo Honey).

Okay then, but you really don't know what you're missing out on

I have Kid A and OK Computer on CDs, but haven't bothered to listen to anything else by them..
I will rectify this soon.

Listen to stuff that you've heard is good from this chart, it's a start at least

I have to admit, i never really gave him a chance apart from the stuff they play on the radio.
I like lyricism mostly and i was never impressed by Kanye. His beats are amazing though.
I will check out MBDTF.

There's alot of stuff on there that I own on CDs or otherwise. i would say like 65% i've heard.

Will check out the rest though, thanks!

I see you've got Pet Sounds but not Smile Sessions? Have you listened to it?

No, I always only used to see Pet Sounds get posted here so I figured it was their best and didn't bother to check their other stuff, I'll check it out.

You're in for a treat then

listen to this one senpai

listen to joanna newsoms other albums, divers is her worst

Also - your selection of Pink Floyd is extremely poor. I hope that's not all you've listened to by them.

>divers is her worst
yea i realized that the first day lol. I have all her others elsewhere.
the Milk eyed Mender is my favorite.

her voice and lyrics are mesmerizing.

>I hope that's not all you've listened to by them.
oh no, I have all the rest on CD. these are just the ones I never bought or got around to, and Roger Waters/ Syd Barret solo stuff I haven't heard yet either.

Animals is my favorite.

Here's some semi-obscure instrumental soul / hip hop / whatever.
Highly recommend listening to Sweetback off the Fabulous Three one and letting that transition to No Names Bar. But the whole album is nice in my opinion.

thanks, i feel so out of the loop as far as hip hop, I don't like most of the new stuff being made now and im too jaded to look for new underground stuff.
i will check this out.

Future Punx, Futurisk, Fad Gadget

Joanna Newsom's voice is like a cat scratching a blackboard while screeching.

Her best work is when she doesn't sing.

i respectfully disagree.
it is an acquired taste i suppose.

peach, plum, unpearable vox

nice bait

>bait
how's that bait you worthless tripnigger?

I agree. I personally can't stand trap or whatever the kids call it.

Here's something you might like:

>Uh Huh
>Mighty Heathy
>Run
>Uzi (Pinky Ring)

>Division Bell
>Viper
how could this not be bait

I found that Beatles/ wu-tang crossover a few years ago. Mighty Healthy is better here than the original!

>>>> Yung Lean

kek his early shit was ok how is his stuff now?

>>Division Bell
i hadn't heard it before and someone on Sup Forums said it was better than Final Cut. Im probably gonna delete it soon, it's pretty shit besides Take It Back.
>>Viper
it's funny. I like his retarded voice and mannerisms. he can actually rhyme but all people now him for is You'll cowards. this album is pretty good.

>how is his stuff now?
not sure, i haven't bothered to listen to his new stuff.
I started listening because someone on youtube called Lil Spook the Yung Lean of R&B.

If this falls in taste then start out with pic related
