the editing was quite impressive! however, 2:24 until the end has some blemishes. the singing got pretty out of key, and the autotune thrown on top did nothing but exacerbate the out of tune vocals. it kinda put a damper on the ending. decent video overall, nothing too out of the ordinary, but entertaining and kinda catchy nonetheless.

GOOD MORNING

I'll rate some stuff when it gets posted. In the mean time...
>Female-Fronted 90's Rock >Just put out an EP. >We play mostly keggers, but the EP is most of our live set.
On tuesday night, I released my first EP. It's something i'm content with, and something i can easily point to and say "this means something to me". I'd love any feedback! I hold the title track closest to me, as it was one of the first songs I've written.
>soundcloud.com/pocusmusic/sets/pieberry-blue-ep Goddamn. The first track had me confused, but by the time I was to "Give It A Go", I was impressed. I adore the vocals and the harmonies on that song. The guitar is beautiful through the entire EP.
>clyp.it/gqehsbul The preview sounds really cool. Very high pitched and melodic!

In all seriousness, no trolling here, this is absolutely awful. The production's the best part, and it's not even that good. The lyrics range from mediocre / lazy to cringe-worthy. The flow is passable, but the singing was just a flat-out awful idea since it's always off-key. The song and video are trying so hard to be badass and epic, but it just fails.
’You might be deaf, you have no rhythm. I feel like you're a white guy who has vinyl for the "rich tones" You know what, fuck you for making this. I hope you feel bad’

thanks for the kind words stranger! "Hulk Hogan Ain't a Racist" had me in tears i love it. Commercial 2...damn. "Colours" and "Tick Tock" have such a crawling, itching pulse to them. Is this you rhyming? Or are these just tracks you've produced?
ceriserecords.bandcamp.com/album/bird-2 >First 9 tracks is lo-fi house >The rest is ambient Samples from Melvins, Boris, Earth. Some of it is turned into house music and some of it is recycled into more drone. Enjoy~ Marry me already prisma pls Never heard of deathstep before and this track kinda makes me glad that's true. The midi intro is cheesy as all hell. I suppose the drop at 1:08 is cool but there is no buildup to it, so it is pretty jarring. Also, the dubstep doesn't go well at all with the midi choir and piano sections in general. Listening to vivotek, it is pretty much just a loop. There is no variation in track structure and it gets old very quickly. Your other songs seem to fall into this pattern too, which is a shame because you do come up with some interesting loops. I like Helianthus a lot, it's very hypnotic.
a lil something new i did. kind of left field. what do you all think?
Dominic Mitchell
I'm really enjoying this. Do you have a bandcamp? I'd download an album
I like the chopping on the melody. I think it would benefit from some more glitchy bits, but that's just my opinion. I really like the security cam theme :)
Looking for good ideas on what to cover next. If anyone has some favorite video game tunes, send me in the right direction. Preferably things that haven’t been covered that much or at all.
>soundcloud.com/adhdkid/blue Really enjoy the mellow feel it has but the drums are bit loud on the high end. Would love for this to build up to a higher climax or some kind of mix up.
- Love the dreamy vibes, especially in the second part. Rapping is also pretty smooth I'd say, even tho I'm not a huge fan of hiphop.
Lovely songs man. You definitely deserve more recognition, great voice and perfectly fitting instrumentals. Especially digging 'Give it a Go'! Reminds me of Radiohead and I am a huge fan.
Listened to your stuff before, Trusty is very hypnotizing and atmospheric, good use of samples
Hmm it's very noisy. Perhaps try mixing it with more conventional elements, unless you were going for the purely distorted sound?
Very chill, BoC samples will get me every time. Perhaps add some progression to the track? I'm also digging 'Kirov', not bad!
Great ambience/pads, but I'd add more variation to the drumbeat, like some varying snare samples?
Trap really isn't my thing, but the production sounds very decent to me
Chill and comfy beat, also the vocals fit very well! The percussion could use some variation after a while, but it's not a huge deal since it works pretty well like that.
Simply beautiful, love the sweet minimal harmony. Makes me want to lay down and dream of blurry childhood memories.
Nice bass and drumbeat overall, but I'm not really sure about the synth that comes in at 0:53.
Dude you have some interesting stuff. 'chops' is awesome, very dynamic and exciting.
Listened to some tracks, I like the direction you're going. 'i wish i was 12 again' is disturbing and the vocals work very well with the anxious instrumentals. Avant-emo!
Awesome, jangly and dreamy indie pop. Postive yet melancholic vibes, reminds me of summer.
Lovely. I like guitar ambient, and it sounds rather well produced for Audacity.
this is thank you for the listen and the kind words! and holy shit, the two songs you linked are robust. lots going on and lots of different areas of the song to focus on. they both resolve very nicely and descend into a peacefulness out of whatever chaos they formed.
Robert Perry
this is thanks for the rec! "Smells like people" reminds me of Ty Segall's emotional mugger project and I couldn't be more hyped on it. "The apocalypse is only half a mile away" you're damn right it is
Returning all feedback, I'll be coming back to the thread in probably like 20 minutes to listen to those I haven't heard before and leave some of my own feedback. Until then, stay gloomy.
First track I've ever made so I know there's a lot here to improve on
However I was curious about the mastering, because when I was making the track it sounded fine but once uploaded to SoundCloud everything sounded pretty compressed. Tips to fix it?
Ethan Green
Don't know much about mastering so i cant help on that but this was a vibing track. The high part was vibing at the end.
I'm about to go into work but whatever feedback I receive on soundcloud will be returned when I get off!
Asher Carter
Didn't initially see this when I first came into the thread but highly recommended, trippy as hell and very poetic 90's rock. Dual vocals in this rule.
I left commentary on SC but this is very well-written, very melodically driven. Production is pretty reverby but I personally dig that.
Cameron Lee
unrelated. how do I change a full track into 30 seconds preview on soundcloud?
Aiden Scott
>open DAW >pick 30 seconds of your track >fade in + out
Angel Thomas
No... This what you've said is not what I've meant.
Zachary Hughes
Just finnished this track that i've been working on for ages, would be cool if anyone checked it out.
