>American Idiot
>Plastic Beach
>Cherry Bomb
>808s
>Enema of the State

Your taste manages to be good but also extremely questionable.

Oh yeah, and Human after All too. Jesus fucking christ at least Homework and Discovery are good. RAM is good but isn't as good as Discovery or Homework but Human After All is just shit. Also branch out.

Not bad for the most part tho.

I'm just recently getting really into music and i need recommendations, thanks

Skream! - Skream
Untrue - Burial
The Glow, pt. 2
F# A# Infinity

I was digging until i saw Justin Beiber and Limp bizkit.

Lorelei - Everyone Must Touch The Stove
Bowery Electric - Beat

So which one of this charts is the new Sup Forumscore chart?

what is this

++Loveless
++The Smiths
++GYBE
+Green Day
+Pink Floyd
Still can't get into Death Grips.

I generally avoid giving recs, becuase I show my lack of musical depth, but sure:
This Will Destroy You - Young Mountain
Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine
Eagle-Eye Cherry - Desireless

Issues - Headspace
Liturgy - The Ark Work
Mudhoney - Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge

1/10
2/10

your chart is all one genre and it's not even a contemporary one.

Just cause Sup Forumscore doesn't make my chart doesn't mean I don't listen to it, but it's just not favorite enough. I'm sure you'll find some stuff on it that's "patrician", though.

There is a lot of albums on there that show OP just goes to Sup Forums for his music

Who the fuck are you shitty newfag

Here's a list of classics that are pretty much universally well liked. Some of them get hate, but I think it's just because they are spammed so much. No specific order, this is just what I feel like I see the most on Sup Forums of the top of my head. For really important/prominent artists I listed a few.
1. ITAOTS (already on your chart)
2. Loveless
3. The Money Store
4. The Lonesome Crowded West
5. MBDTF (on your chart, try college dropout/Yeezus)
6. Kid A / OK Computer
7. Deathconsciousness (fuck spelling)
8. Ziggy Stardust / Heroes / Hunky Dory
9. Demon Days
10. Madvillainy
11. The Velvet Underground and Nico
12. Funeral
13. Pinkerton
14. Perfect From Now On
15. Unknown Pleasures
16. Remain In Light
17. Since I Left You
18. Trout Mask Replica
19. Animals (Pink Floyd)
20. Blurryface
21. Whatever people Say I am I'm Not
see what you like and go from there; explore discographies and look for similar artists.

I'm still a pleb by most standard btw. pic related: my chart

Not the user you're talking to, but the reason it makes me mad is because it's just ok music but even though it's just ok it gets talked about constantly, worshipped incessantly and leaves far better music unloved and unappreciated.

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
FUCKING NORMIES GET OFF MY BOARD

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

NORMIES GET OUT

jim o'rourke - eureka
oobe - stealth
white drugs - harlem
tri angle records - let me shine for you
imaad wasif - the voidist
polar bear club - sometimes things just dissapear
disaro records - isvolt
muse - origin of symmetry
sappukei - number girl
chino horde - chino horde
white drugs - harlem
glocca morra - the working bones, a health decline

My chart has ambient, metal, krautrock jazz, tropicalia, funk, heavy psych, exotica and prog rock so I have no problem with branching out. If you only know 10 things on my chart because you are a clueless newfag or if you are an imbecile who thinks everything that sounds psychedelic is from the same genre, that isn't my problem.
I'm 20 minutes in and holy shit this is great man
Thx for the rec

brian pls rec

pleas give recs i don't know shit

do you do this in real life too? like just butt into someone's conversation and then give them an essay about why you disagree with them? This is really weird. You are really weird and no one likes you.

already a big fan of NUMBER GIRL, i'll check the others out, thanks.

lync - these are not fall colors
cherubs - heroin man
dope body - natural history
clikatat ikatowi - river of souls

i gotchu
>Third
Don Cherry - Eternal Rhythm
Terry Riley - A Rainbow In Curved Air
AAAND introdcuing the combination:
Terry Riley and Don Cherry live 1975 (bootleg)
maybe try Red Crayola too if it's not too out there for you

>having private conversations on a yakuza loli slave imageboard
You're not from around these parts are you?

Howdy partners.

TJAMC - Darklands

Aztec Camera - High Land, Hard Rain
Even Oxen - Arrayed Above the Seraphim Lights
You would like Darklands too

Hmm not really my style but I really love Insomniac. Try Beyond The Fleeting Gales.

Red Red Meat - Jimmywine Majestic. Has a nice nirvana feel.
Even Oxen - Arrayed Above the Seraphim Lights
Alex Cameron - Jumping the Shark
Anderson Paak - Malibu

Saw your chart recently, I love the stuff I recognize but I haven't listened to most of it. Have you heard Moonloops by Flughand?

Magnetic fields, my man. Holiday is way way better though.
Try The Verlaines - Juvenilia

AYYYY TWIN PEAKS
I'm seeing them live in April
Alex Cameron - Jumping the Shark

Earl Sweatshirt - Doris
you know anybody from Odd Future really.

Also Damn Harlem is amazing, how is this shit not talked about. How did you find these guys, and are they not doing music anymore?

I dont really know much about them just found them recently.

Kind of funny actually, the radio station at the college I go to has a little table outside with a bunch of free cds. I typically ignore it because usually its all crappy local country acts (the college is in Texas) but walking by I saw the harlem album cover, thought it was cool, and grabbed it. Went home listened to it and thought it was badass.

hello anons

what's your favourite film

mine is full metal jacket

brb gonna go make this chart look c o o l

i lose a year of life when i see someone who prefers the moon and antarctica over anything modest mouse put out before that

see above

funky dude i vibe with you
Sun Ra - God is More Than Love Can Ever Be
ive probably rec'd it to you already but man its that sweet spot

correct modest mouse
incorrect literally everything else

mine its got some peng shit

this is not where you post these mate
i will say this though, taxxon, even oxen, alldrig, windowlistener and epiglottis are legitimately good and im glad some of them have gained plenty popularity outside of the threads
also im on this chart :)

me neither

not often i see a 0 and a 10 album right next to each other

Check out The Glow Pt. 2 if you haven't, really good feels album. Also check out Busdriver for some more hip-hop, more specifically his earlier work

guy who recommended me l event thanks its good

why didnt i put beat happening on this wth

mine is whiplash
i relate to it a lot but im not a drummer

your chart is really ugly but it has nice albums if you squint your eyes hard enough
thanks for appreciating danse manatee we are few and far between
also why do i keep seeing the minecraft soundtrack here is this a meme

animal collective - hollindagain [it's the missing link between danse and hcti] although i dont see the indian on your chart

youre my guy
abner jay, songs of pain, venus in cancer, the other good grouper album, arrayed, and cool ecm gems i haven't heard!

John Surman & Jack DeJohnette - the amazing adventures of simon simon

truman show thats a good one but a lot of 90s early 2000s big movies give me this weird vibe like i dunno how to explain it it's like something about popular films from that time gives me a little irk inside like "this isn't right"

recs appreciated

today is the day - willpower

ulver - perdition city
rest of my bloody valentine discog
dj screw - 3 n the mornin part 2
dalek - absence
the entire discographies of tim buckley and neil young

I'm aware a lot of my taste is a meme, I make a Topster chart at the beginning of each month and I've been branching out a lot recently. Been mostly listening to Japandroid, Jinsang, Television (amazing band by the way, I didn't think I was going to like it) and such. Anyways, give recs and stuff - so long as it isn't Candy Claws or Frank Zappa, I want to wait until I can fully appreciate them.

I don't watch new films nearly as much as I listen to new albums, but sometimes there's just that one film you want to keep rewatching over and over and over again

...

>I want to wait until I can fully appreciate them.
What does that mean?

just give me something

sorry i don't have a pastebin account, names are:
the sunny street - they hurt you everyday (you should listen to this)
dinosaur jr - you're living all over me (ikr)
new order - 81-82
morgen - morgen
san pedro el cortez - un poco mas de luz
jyl - jyl
the terminals - touch (maybe try this one too)

just what i've been listening lately
also don't know what you mean by the bucket thing and thanks but i'm not sure confusing me with someone else (tekka maybe since I ripped off the idea from him)

yeah I know my chart's ugly

I'm planning on listening to hollindagain soon, it, CHZ, and PW are the only animal collective albums I haven't listened to yet

HTCI is on there, it's right next to midcity

I don't think the minecraft soundtrack is a new meme
the other anons I've found who like it genuinely enjoy it

I get the idea that if I listen to them half-assedly rather than for the enjoyment of them then I will not be able to relive the moment of listening to them for the first time. I know it sounds really stupid though especially in the case of Hot Rats, I really don't want to spoil them,

i do this a lot with clerks. its just so comfy and theres not much really going on its just a day in the life of two losers

it's not a bad soundtrack it just seemed to come out of nowhere
maybe im just out of touch with mu

thanks for the recs, ive heard king of the jews and 1990. solid albums
mueso rosenbach - zarathrusta
area - arbeit macht frei [dont worry its italo prog no naziprog]

something
something

coil vs elph - worship the glitch

yeah confused with the other lad
youre living all over me is an indeh rock masterpiece desu
might try sunny street

wrong thread

also, most of these albums suck

Andrew Younker is actual garbage

Mine's Children of Men, though if we are talking about Kubrick here then Barry Lyndon is fantastic.

i see, yeah desu i never was big into indie rock but the guy im dating now has really got me into that and garage rock so yeah,
>might try sunny street

TERRIBLE taste

noice

what's your chart?

...

so how can you judge someone's taste and post this chart at the same time?

>4th highest rating
thanks even though you contribute literally nothing to these threads

third album was my face when i saw your top 10

ount erie, time machines and black antlers are good
why do you prefer black antlers to the other coil releases?

>why do you prefer black antlers to the other coil releases?
music is just very well done and has my fave version of teenage lightening. The song lengths are perfect and everything just seems to sync up just right

Because your ratings are all over the place, and aside from that, numerical ratings do literally nothing other than stroking your ego

Calm down, yours is bad, too

what was the zero senpai

awesome, i agree with you, black antlers best coil

andrew jackson jihad
that album just really pisses me off

yeah i know

you contributed very much thank you

How do you get custom backgrounds?

there's a space in options where it asks you to put the url of an image for your backround

>mfw I'm late
Probably nobody is going to reply to me, but fuck it.

(OP)
You live an easy life.
You like to be outside but you don't do it too often.
The guy in school that no one noticed.
>Asking Alexandria
whatthefuck
You're probably boring.
When you listen to music you go by genres (you listen to something and then you go "wow, I need all of this").
You have anxiety.
Friendly.
You usually feel like if you're with the popular opinion something must be wrong.
Pretty good. You love going to sleep.

>You usually feel like if you're with the popular opinion something must be wrong.
that was definitely me last year and some parts of my taste still reflect that. well done. I care a lot less about what people think about my taste now and it's helped me enjoy some more popular albums

failure is a good band if youre looking to replace nirvana, thats such a nice album
isn't ground zero some sort of turntablism type of stuff? try out Les Sculpteurs de Vinyl

I was never a fan of Nirvana desu, before Failure my favorite grunge stuff was Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains. Though I always liked In Utero a lot.

I appreciate Ground-Zero more as a Musique Concréte act, but I'll pay a listen to that album, thanks.
