Power trip

He doesn't actually want Will's help because he's so unhinged, but needs it, so he reluctantly puts up with him

Cause he hates Will and would work him 24/7 even if he were losing both arms. The dude was fucking losing his mind and he fucking told him to get over it. Really? Fucking really?

Will is GOAT

...

>We only have a video recording of the perpetrator committing the crime and his signed confession. How THE FUCK am I suppose to solve this case? Get Will on the phone.

...

the real question is, why are there so many genius level serial killers running around in the US?

He doesn't want to let him get complacent in his role because he knows it's damaging him.

If Jack were just like: "Oh, this is great! You can be my psychopath bloodhound forever!" then Will would suffer and we'd know Jack doesn't give a shit.

It's tough love, bro. And it really fucks Jack up throughout the whole series. Great character.

This was my only problem with the show, esp the first season. In S3 they made longer story arcs about one killer... they could have written it similarly in the earlier seasons, rather than a killer of the week. Also a show like this should have done better than coincidences, such as Hannibal's patient just happening to be a 'friend' of the violinist killer.

Is Will Graham the best written character ever?

Finished watching s3 the other day.

>lets see if s4 is available
>find out show is cancelled

Welp...

And me who manly teared as fuck at the end.

Why won't any streaming service or network fucking pick up this show

Bryan Fuller needs to fucking pick up the show again. Hulu, or fucking Amazon Prime would kill to have this show

She's hot

So what did Lecter do to Will?

Raped his boipussi

>they could have written it similarly in the earlier seasons, rather than a killer of the week.
The network forced them to do a procedural killer of the week show because the executives thought that would sell the show to a wider audience. With season 2 Bryan Fuller was able to convince the executives to let them dial back the killers of the week for season 2 which is why there were only 4 or 5 of them in season 2. Then because the executives were cancelling the show at the end of season 3 they decided to let Fuller go all out and said you can do whatever the fuck you want (e.g, zero killers of the week).

tl;dr
Blame the network, not the writers.

Mads had an interview a week or two ago where he said he's still hopes for the show to come back in the following year and that he and all of the cast members will still come back in a heart beat.

Based Mads. Still wants to come back to the little show that he didn't get paid much for that got cancelled because barely anyone was watching it even though he's been in huge movies like Rogue One and Doctor Strange.

because its a fairytale tragedy

There has to be some network out there that would love to pick up this show. Shit shows constantly get picked up and this show has a following.

He's awesome. I hope he actively pursues the revive the show.

>still no BR on torrents
wtf, it was out on December

J

Amazon has the rights til 2017, and they chose not tot to pick up the series. No other stream wanted a show where there don't have access to the first three seasons so until 2017 at least, we're outta luck.

Such good timing. I just spent a whole day on this classical edit of all the body horror in Hannibal

Just uploading now and I come on here and see this thread. It must be fate...

In my top 3 shows.
Owned it on bluray that's how much I like it

Finally uploaded.
if you love Hannibal. Give this a watch.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=1i2p1HLyVQc

took me a day of downloading and encoding to the right format. Then I somehow managed to delete season 2 half way through the edit.

Enjoy!

I'm surprised they don't wanna pick it up

I really dislike everything related to Hannibal Lecter with the sole exception of Red Dragon.

That book was great, but everything after it was just ridiculous with shit that Lecter could have never pulled off in real life, including all the shit he did to Will in this show.

He felt like a Bond villain in a show that should've just kept his original character, a crazy person that ate people that Will only spoke to 2 or 3 times in person.

I thought red dragon in season 3 was done okay.
it was a little over the top but then again ive not read the books

season 3 was a let down but it's not as bad as people make out. There's some really decent stuff in there.

can't believe how much gore was passed through TV.

I wish someone would pick it back up.
Will and Lector are destined to go forever until they both eat each other or end up in jail

Surprising awesome

Loved the break down bit with the flashing lights.

So pissed Hannibal was cancelled. And they let all this American schlock into seasons 10 and 11 but this gets canned.
doesn't make any sense and shows you how dumb people are for not having this rise to the top of TV.
it's up there with the wire and sopranos in terms of acting

So fit

She's one of those women that make my dick tingle when I look at her.
like I wanna shove a baby up her as fast as possible

me on the left

Now this is my design

HOWEVER

In season 3 he has an arch and treats Will like an equal.

hannibal threads were the best

Nice

I wish I had the money to dress like Hannibal. He had yoloswag amounts of class

All these GOT threads and no love for Hannibal.

I think my top 5 would be (in no order)

Hannibal
wire
mad men
rome
sopranos

special mention to justified

what about you lads?

Asian girl is qt

>your taste is good apart from hannibal
>and you like hannibal so much that you'd rank it in your top five literally alongside the wire and sopranos

you are... perplexing..

i don't get how you can have such a black hole of bad taste in that top five like you do. i get liking it for what it is and all but seriously thinking it's top five material? weird.

Let's hear your top 5

I think Hannibal is in my top 5 (season 1 and 2) because of how well written Will and Hannibal are.
it could easily be cheesy or over the top but it never is.

>also stop analysing me!

Would it be as good if amazon picked it up for season 4 and 5?

I don't want to chance it

>Let's hear your top 5

shit i don't know man i am baked (yeah yeah insert DUDE meme here). there are a lot of shows that are better. deadwood. generation kill. band of brothers (bastogne might be the single greatest episode of any tv drama ever). father ted. the twilight zone. x-files. golden era simpsons. i really like that first version of the singing detective from '86. i think that is a masterpiece of tv..

even hogans heroes is great. so is married with children.

i don't know man i don't have a list. it's just a weird choice for top five.

D7PP7PP6EOE6PE7E7PE7PEYYDLKYSOYWITWITSOYDOUDLUDDUPLDULUDLSYYWOYWKYS

Actually band of brothers can replace Hannibal on my list.
that's not debate

That was great. FACT

He really wasn't, they were Polar Opposites, Jack was Alpha as fuck with drive and direction, who had the tools to compartmentalize the trauma of his life and profession. Will not so much, mainly because of his stronger then most sense of empathy. A Hammer and a Paintbrush.

Mo

Someone post Hannibal food porn webms

>Fuller stated that should the series continue, whether for a fourth season or feature film, and should they obtain rights to adapt The Silence of the Lambs, Ellen Page would be his ideal casting for Clarice Starling.[59]

How do you feel about this?

I wouldn't say they were all geniuses.
and what was the time period of the show?

I can see that

I can't remember where I saw it but I think a streaming service said they'd pick it up but only if they started the next season immediately and started filming as soon as the first episode was written, rather than letting Bryan write the whole season THEN shoot it. So they turned them down.

Well it's not completely unrealistic. Here's a list of some serial killers with high IQs

Ted Kaczynski - 167
Edmund Kemper - 136
Ted Bundy - 136
Andrew Cunanan - 147
Jeffrey Dahmer - 145
Charlene Williams - 160
Nathan Leopold - 160-168
Rodney Alcala - 160

Why did Hannibal eat people exactly?

All of the real life cannibal serial killers I read about did it out of sexual reasons, but I don't think that's the case with him

KStew is perfect for Clarice

It is more than just eating the meat, you eat the person.

Some of them he eats because they were literally subhuman and according to him, as a ubermensch, he was in the right to prey upon them.
Some of them he eats because he wanted to elevate them by making them a part of him

I think

>it's a "somebody whines about realism in a show starring a brilliant cannibal therapist hiding in plain sight in front of the police" episode

Shut the fuck up, those were some seriously creative killer-of-the-week displays

And being aware it was all aired on network television only heightened my sense of wonder

i know it's gay enough to have just watched this show to completion and already bracing myself for some true homo shit in the last scene but when will placed his head on hannibal's chest i just felt.. something.

i still find it incredibly depressing that will decided he's been irrevocably poisoned by hannibal and chooses death. fuck. i really wanted will to recover.

Yeah that's why it doesn't make sense. Dahmer for example got off on eating people because they were attractive and he wanted to display his dominance and to have them be part of him forever.

If Hannibal ate people to be a part of him why would he eat people he viewed as inferior? I mean you could be right but I think it can't be both of the reasons you listed, it either has to be one or the other

based Fuller team

but also fuck them because i'd have gladly accepted an improvisational season 4. i remember fuller mentioning that the arc he had planned out for will for the imaginary season 4 was the most compelling he found his character, which is impressive since in the books will kinda just flounders in the novels, wandering streets at night piss-drunk. can't imagine what he would've done

I wish Fuller would put more effort in trying to revive the series again instead of waiving it off. Everyone is still on board to do the show so i don't see why he's hesitant

thanks. fucking miss this show, i watched the path just to see will again in new stuff. jesse fucking pinkman was in it too lol

Everyone is fucking a dick in Hannibal

I'm loving it tho

...

pretty sure he was already doing that in season 2, that one episode with the bodies inside horses and he gives will this neat quote about the creature following its own nature after it hatches ''and it's beyond me''

didn't he try to saw will's head off in season 3 and only stopped when he was captured by uh, verger was it? michael pitt's character

>tfw watching season 2 finale live at 2 am crying with my hanniggers

>we'll never get bowie for uncle lecter now

pls kill me

they live tho, fuller confirmed it

The Wire
Deadwood
Breaking Bad (sorry :P)
The Americans
Spartacus

Watched Sopranos to completion and I could see why it's hailed as the best show. I can't defend why I still believe In Treatment is a better show than it.

>your taste is good apart from hannibal

I don't care how high you are, have a little respect asshole. We're mourning here.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=1i2p1HLyVQc
best food meme

I'll be doing a super food edit with all of hannibals cooking b2b later on in the month

God some awful shows there bud

Impressive, good job user.

>He doesn't have a BroadcastTheNet account

shit, my mistake

The Americans

I only saw a few episodes on tv, is it any good, or commie propaganda?

Thanks dude.
took me long enough.

Spent about a week trying to find a suitable song.
was going to go with DOOM 2016 ost.
can you imagine how different that'd be hah

kek, would have been interesting for sure. Nice taste my man.

Hannibal was fantastic. I even loved the third season, despite the weak opening episodes.

I would absolutely put Hannibal in my top five.

It's hard to find good industrial metal.
but cheers.

>will never hate fucked this
>alana never hate fucked this

Why did Hannibal turn her inside out or wear her body over his and seduce Will?

Didn't *

he runs an FBI unit, is under constant scrutiny, has to put up with a lot of bullshit and wrangle in wills autism. Jack doesnt have it easy either

though they needed to make him smarter. in the books jack is capable, but in the show and most movies he gets 20 minutes into an investigation and needs help

she was supposed to get attacked by dolerhyde but muh feminism saved her so they just fucked chiltons shit up
again

criminally underused characters thread?

That has to be bullshit. I suspect at least half those were actually retarded

yeah the reasoning for her not getting murdered was dumb but I did love chilton getting even more fucked up
I wonder what would be left of him by the end of the series, if it should continue

Felt too much like CSI fucks to me.

End up like the cricket from always sunny.

>you got to fake it. It's the ones that don't that get it the worst....

I agree

I wish someone would work her like a puppet. Tickle her bellybutton from the inside out.

the whole show is a long nightmare. logic doesn't apply

Why would it be bullshit?

In the show. Jack was a vehicle for Will.
But he got to that position of power because he was smart (hopefully) so you would wish they'd utilise it more.
