What does Sup Forums think of the original Fright Night...

What does Sup Forums think of the original Fright Night? My friend and I watched this the other day and he couldn't stop laughing at how bad it was. I grew up with it so I never thought it was that bad but now I'm curious of what others think about it.

there's a goof with a mirror scene but otherwise, I liked it.

>Welcome to Fright Night!...For REAL.

Did you know evil Ed was also a gay porn star

Great comfy movie. But I can see how someone would laugh at it nowadays.

wait what? This guy right here - pic related?

It's pretty much kinography

Your friend is a faggot for not understanding '80s camp. Original Fright Night is an '80s classic. Your friend should kill himself. He is they type of homo who likes all the remakes and not the originals.

>fright night
>bad

and people wonder why this is the worst board

Some of Stephen Geoffreys filmography from IMDb.

>three dicks are better than one: 3
That's not necessarily porn.

This. It's cheesey and it's a deliberate throwback to monster romps. It's tone is perfect for what it's trying to achieve. Did you even consider that maybe you and your friend are shitty, and not the movie?

>Transexual prostitutes 2 isn't gay porn

It was pretty good and I loved the dynamic between the characters

I also liked the whole "actor on a TV show gets involved with the real deal" theme in the movie

GOAT SFX too. The scene where they guy turns out to be a zombie and melts is handsdown one of the coolest scenes from any horror movie ever

>Semen Training Day isn't porn

Butt Blazer and Leather Buddies are not necessarily porn.

>Buff and gay isnt porn kino

Well I have actually loved this movie ever since I was a kid. My friend was the one dogging it sooooo I don't know what you want. Here's a (You)

I showed it to my friend recently for the first time and he loved it. Get a new friend.

I remember being 15 and buying that film on VHS, it was an 18 rated film and the woman let me buy it after saying I watched it on TV and thought it was good, I felt like such a badass.

I think this is the ending result. He's also a Jew.

>Butt Blazer

I thought it was pretty good

This, it surprises me how many millinials expect movies to have great effects when they were made 30 years ago.

I went to a screening of Evil Dead like a month ago, and had fedora wearing college kids laughing at some of the scenes where people are dying.

Such an underrated film and the sequel is good too.

They screened the original in my area and it was great.

The remake was cast well except for Dr Who but I think it was PG-13. Garbage.

My grandpa loved the Fright Night movies. It took place in the 80's yeah, but it had a totally 50's or 60's vibe to it, so he related to it more. It's campy, but well made. Most campy horror flicks from the 80's are average at best. This one like Re-Animator was a good blend of horror and comedy. Haven't seen Part 2 though.

Well yeah there's always those autistic faggots that laugh at anything. I was watching Saving Private Ryan in the theater and the scene where the soldier picked up his arm and started walking around with it, some retard started laughing out loud.

I rewatched the original and the remake the other week and the remake actually held up way better than I remembered it, while the original was even campier than I remembered. Colin Farrell is one menacing-looking apple-eater.

Evil Ed was a mistake.
