Nothing, France serves Germany's interests

Another large blow to Globalist scum.

Germany will follow after

76% sure they're going to

wrong, they are sponsored by Russia, if they win it would completely kill EU.

Do you serve our interests aswell?

Roach.

As an Alsatian of Suiss ancestry, fuck you. You're not going to decide to whom our land belongs to.

You could figure this out by simply watching the news and not being on this forsaken website 24/7. She's planning to
>Reduce migration
>Encourage repatriation (among others by abolishing all non-European double nationalities)
>Leave NATO
>Organize a referendum to leave the EU

We're talking about the leader who directly adressed Hollande as a German governor. Berlin's interests are at the bottom of her priority list.

yeah but what consequences would those decisions have? Especially the EU referendum part?

>Especially the EU referendum part?
Gee, I fucking wonder what consequences France leaving the EU would have!

>they are sponsored by Russia

Probably. But doesn't really matter. The economic crisis substantially increased that electoral niche.

All these alt-right movements are the babies of the fiascos of the neoliberal and globalization tendencies. Traditional far-right movements spit in the face of this cuck. They have an ideology based off all that shit that reminds us of old times (fascism, racism, ultra-nationalism, authoritarianism, etc). The FN like most other alt-right movements (except based Golden Dawn) doesn't really have a fix ideology: racism?, no, not really anymore; fascism? nope, just tell the losers of globalization, their voters, whatever they want to hear about how the economy and society should work; ultra-nationalism? Not really when you're in the payroll of foreign powers, servants of certain global financial interests, court zionism every now and then, and try to build a sort of international cartel of alt-right losers to ko the system; authoritarianism? Only in the mouth. Apart of being a bunch of morons, from an educational pov, unlike the classic far-right parties, they too lack the balls to actually go and grab the state by the pussy once they get to power; traditional values and stuff? Most of them are personally the very opposite of what traditional morals, christian values and etc preach. Marion has been divorced how many times already?

So in short, even if there weren't Russia and a lot of other dastardly interests propping up this collection of morons and sellout pussies known as 'alt-right', their electoral niche is there. And that wasn't created by Putin, but by the mismanagement of globalization done by the traditional parties.

So who does it belong to?

>leave NATO
literally why
that's dumb as fuck

Literally nothing.

Not really. France already left NATO under De Gaulle and didn't fully rejoin until 2008. Truth is France can handle itself militarily speaking (and before you bring it up, yes she does want to increase military spending) and like De Gaulle before her she wants to make France truly independent in its foreign policy.

This of course won't mean cutting off all military cooperation with America and giving them the finger, just stepping out of NATO. An institution your own Trump admitted is outdated.
>B-But muh highly theoretical Russian invasion of France
To paraphrase De Gaulle (notice a pattern here?): France's ability to kill 80 million Russians will deter the Russians from killing 800 million Frenchmen, if there were 800 million Frenchmen.

She gets Putin bux, also they are vaguely anti-American.

NATO is obsolete

>She gets Putin bux
Mostly because she can barely get loans in France for being "raycis"

>also they are vaguely anti-American
Far from it. She has been nothing but positive about Trump.

It would be extremely painful for EU

NATO is a bunch of US vassal states
lets be honest, Europe doesn't really depend on American protection

World War 3

Post pics

France independent from the 4th Reich

>Europe doesn't really depend on American protection
how? EU Army? or 4th reich?

Holy shit she just took money from a russian bank, she don't owe the russian government or anything

That's Trump, before him the National Front was very much against American economic domination of Europe.

the economy would easily collapse and perform in a far worse way than post art50 bongland. who'd buy ""franc"" today. seemingly she doesnt even understand how economy works. she is much more fucking dumber than other alt-right """strong"" leaders such as that oranghutan, japgook, hagbong, pinomurder, erdoshit, rusbot etc.

france is nothing like america or japan or bongland which has their own traditional currency and doesnt have as much stamina as them.

>took money from a russian bank,
>don't owe the russia
Is there no bank on france? lol

>it would completely kill EU
That would be a shame, wouldn't it?

EU army
Plus, we dont have any real enemies who threaten our security.
While Eastern Europe is afraid of Russia, I dont believe a Russian invasion is realistic

>FN is alt-right
Lol
We don't talk about the "alt-right" here. It's just an american meme with no meaning.
Front National is a nationalist party.

>Anti-globalists are against globalism
No shit.

>EU army
Fuck off. Germany's army is already in a pitiful state with American protection, how would it be without American protection? You'd actually have to invest your money in a fucking army for a change. The entire idea behind an EU army is to have Frenchmen die in Poland for German interests.

Why would we invest money in our army if we are in the NATO already?
Literally the only benefit of NATO is that we dont have to spend so much money for our army

Yeah, but isn't that thanks to the presence of the US?

>Why would we invest money in our army if we are in the NATO already?
To meet the 2% NATO norm for starts. You can't even meet that, so what use is an EU army?

Correct. And now that Trump is demanding everyone foots the bill, Merkel and her cronies are quaking in their boots and hurling insults at America. Like a whore abandoned by her pimp.

When you borrow money from a bank, doyou offer a drink to your banker ? You say good things about him to other people ?

End of EU

>To meet the 2% NATO norm for starts.
but why should we do that? It would bring us zero benefit and we would have to pay more money

EU has the same GDP as USA. If the need arises, we would be able to fund an military similar to that of USA in size

FN with Marine is a stereotypical alt-right populist party
FN with Jean Marie was a stereotypical classic far-right party

Hasn't le Pen been on record that she will not do a Frexit or leave the Euro without a referendum to back it?
I mean, she's very much a French nationalist, but she's been fairly soft to the EU compared to some others.

>Is there no bank on france?
There are. Except every single one of them denied giving them a loan. Which is why they turned elsewhere out of the country.

None that accepted to lend her money. She's not exactly big finance friendly.

She wants to do referendum regarding remaining in the EU and keeping the euro. This way at least there will be no trouble, the french people choose, period.

She'll do a referendum, but so did ukip. That way whatever side wins will be indubitably legitimate.

> France leaves the EU
Loses global markets, and visa free travel to other European countries

>Leaves NATO
Who cares Le Pen is literally being financed by Russian state owned banks.

I hope all the nationalist parties win their election in their perspective countries. It'll just hasten our global hegemony.

Ukip was never in power, a vote for them was pretty much a vote against EU.
There is a distinction.

>indubitably legitimate

No, leaving important state affaires to the decission of the uneducated plebs isn't legitimate. It's irresponsible. Politicians are the ones that need to carry out the weight of important decissions. That's why they are elected, to gobern and make decissions.

Otherwise, don't elect anyone. No government and no parliament at all. Just make referendums for everything.

100% the will of the people.

>Loses global markets
Just like Britain amirite?

>and visa free travel to other European countries
There are non-EU countries that are both part of Schengen and part of the free trade zone. That said, the free trade zone will be all that remains once France leaves.

>It'll just hasten our global hegemony.
There's nothing to hasten, it's already there.

Britain hasn't left the EU yet.

i'd rather have US protection than German annexation.

Fuck off Germany.

we don't really need an EU army. Poland and the Baltics are strong enough to make an alliance that could fend off the Russians.

The Nordic countries could make an alliance to fend off the russians and the germans.

And the germans could continue starting trouble with france, like the good old days.

And I doubt leaving the EU will collapse them. It's all fearmongering to justify an institution with no reason to exist.

>leaving important state affaires to the decission of the uneducated plebs isn't legitimate.
Of course. Why ask the people for something that will affect all of them personally. We'd be much better off leaving it to politicians with conflicting interests and loyalty to their "sponsors".

>Otherwise, don't elect anyone. No government and no parliament at all. Just make referendums for everything.
You think that's even feasable? No wonder Spain's government works worse than that of fucking Belgium.

Chill, faggots. 0 chances for her to get elected

>And I doubt leaving the EU will collapse them. It's all fearmongering to justify an institution with no reason to exist.
Idiot

Sup Forums posters are so fucking ill informed about economy. read daily fag and expresshit to death

>checks flag
You forgot to tell people to stay inside that day.

The same uneducated plebs that vote in referendums elect the handful of politicians that you say should be the ones deciding the fate of the entire country.
Referendum are a tool of democracy, and if the pleb is uneducated, don't blame the pleb, blame the educational system.
Are you remoaner in Spain?

The difference is the US is a nation, so it makes sense they have a common army among all the states.

Europe is not a nation. No matter how hard you guys try to make the fourth reich. Every nation state within Europe has different goals, and different threats, so a common army would make no sense, and would only follow the german/french doctrine, which would eventually lead us into war with either some africans, or russia.

Alright, post an article proving, or at least making it plausible, that Britain will collapse and that France would collapse if it leaves the EU.

Let's also not forget the lack of a common language or common culture. Those soldiers would never feel like a brotherhood, a single army. They would feel like forced allies at best.

Multinational armies rarely work. Just check out Austria's atrocious performance in WW1, or how the Ottoman Empire just couldn't get its shit together.

What are her chances? Seriously speaking.

I think desipte beeing different nations, we still have a lot of common goals.
For example, I think we all can agree that the defence of EU member states is a common goal of us. An defensive EU army would serve that goal rather well

Funny that you say that, cause Dutch and German armies are pretty well integrated, and i didnt hear any complains about the lack of brotherhood

>And I doubt leaving the EU will collapse them.
It all happens on what the EU and the UK will decide to do. The UK can make a successful departure with proper agreements and fiscal reforms and the EU can strangle their economy. So I think it's a bit premature to say what's going to happen.

Not him, but..

Absolutely unrealistic.

>Loses global market
>There are absolutely no way to trade with people without being in a bigger institution that doesn't respect your sovereignty
Damn Why doesn't the US join the EU ? Surely you don't have access to the global market (tm)

>Dutch and German "armies"
Oh boy, feared and reknowned armies known for their ... army exercises? Maybe a "peacekeeping" mission or two consisting of just being present in the region to look like we're contributing to NATO?

Thanks for the hard figures. Frogs help me out.

It's absolutely confirmed that Le Pen will win the first round, all polls predict it. She will likely lose the second round, but there's an oddball factor here: the left is utterly smashed (despite the media trying to push for the utter nobody that is Macron) and Fillon, the darling of French conservatives, just got involved in the biggest corruption scandal since Sarkozy.

Right now Fillon might be the only candidate that can lose to Le Pen, so whatever way it goes it will be very close.

The Dutch army is actually one of the most active armies in participating in NATO missions.

>somali pirate missions
>carribean drug missions
>french mali missions
>baltics protection missions
>drills in norway, usa, poland, germany, etc
>integrated airforce with Belgium
>integrated army with germany
>participate in most American conflicts, like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria
>help defend Turkey against missile attacks

We're pretty underfunded, but compared to many other small countries we're still relatively big.

and thats why we need more cooperation between the EU states.
On our own, our armies are irrelevant. But if we pool or resources, we could reasily maintain an army similar to USA

And
>our navy being part of the anti missle shield of Europe.
And perhaps some more I forgot.

>French girls go marry with englishmen
>No english qt with a lovely accent come here
She is around 30 to 35% of the votes. French general election being 2 rounds, meaning that all "non fascist parties" will rally against "far right nazis" in the second round.
Media already trying to divide and conquer the FN electoral base. I really hope it won't work. I've been making people wanting to vote FN for months in pubs, so atleast we'll have 20 more votes

I cannot fucking believe that it would take France leaving you fucks to get you all to build an actual goddamn military.
Should have dissolved NATO a decade ago.

So if it's Macron vs. Lepen who wins?

Nothing.

The Assemblée Nationale would just refuse all of her bills.

Also the problematic arabs in France already have their citizenship so you can't do much about them without a civil war.

You dont keep up NATO out of sheer alturism
You do it because it benefits you and gives you influence over Europe

Actually, MH17 was the trigger in Dutch politics that made our parliament say we needed to reinvest in our military.

But our ruling government agreed. But they claimed they couldn't find the budget yet. That's why Trumps pressure is a good thing. Because then they somehow magically will find the budget they have been looking for.

Right now Macron is like the Hillary of the US election, without any skeletons in his closet.
Legislative elections are just around the corner you dumb nut.

>Macron is like the Hillary of the US election, without any skeletons in his closet.
So very electable?

>gives you influence over Europe
Britain was our influence over Europe. They left, we can live without it.
What we have you guys for are as a meat shield between us and Russia, and not that long ago you couldn't even do that.

macron
left and right will unite against FN like everytime.

Yeah, and much less polarizing. He has all the media under his boot shilling for him. He's both appealing to left wing and right wing voters despite being clearly right wing.
He is "the safe choice", except it isn't safe at all, it's the continuation of all the past mistakes that made us into the deep shit we are in today

That's strange. In Canada I'm pretty sure the conservatives would sell us down the river to literal fascist out of spite rather than work with the libs who are centrists or the ndp who are leftist.

We're very good at what we do, but none of that are grand scale military operations. We mostly act in a supporting role.

That said, this doesn't prove my main assertion: that on a grand scale multinational armies under a single command simply do not work. You cannot enforce a European army without a European nationality.

>It doesn't work
>We need to push it harder
Typical Eurocrat.

I'd love to see them try. With both France and Britain out, that's the majority of the EU's military power and projection.

Sadly, yes. And to make things even worse, he's a socialist. And a socialist who actually, unironically and without shame approves of Merkel's rapefugee policy. Le Pen vs Fillon is a far right vs extreme right situation. Le Pen vs Macron is utter nightmare fuel.

The FN isn't really the equivalent to conservatives, it's a much more polarizing party that has a really bad history of outright, unshamed racism.

the difference between conservative & liberal is less showing in EU maybe, i don't know much about politics in Canada.

as said
FN has a very bad reputation and they're seen as the bad guy who need to be defeated whatever happens.

So you're just shilling for a right wing candidate to make the EU explode? That's pretty dumb considering how fucked continental Europe will be if that happens. Sounds like Russia in the 90s t b h.

In a world where Trump won it seems a lot of people root for the bad guy in secret.

Not him, but the Netherlands can easily survive the end of the EU.

We're only in it for our trade with Germany (and the UK) anyway.

A defensive EU army wouldn't work, because different European nations have different threats.

There's no chance in hell Russia will threaten Germany, France, Spain or Portugal. But they are a threat to Poland, the Baltics, Finland and Norway.

A "European" perspective on defense would focus on counter terrorism, since that's the main "threat" towards the most populous european nation states. And this in turn would neglect conventional armies.

Also, the bigger EU nations are doing everything in their power to provoke the russians, which also doesn't bode well for the smaller ones that actually border them. Remember the whole Ukraine deal, sure the russians were assholes, but the EU did everything in their power to push the russians too.

but if Russia invades one of EU member states, Germany and France would have no other choice but to retaliate, otherwise the union would be dead.

>Also, the bigger EU nations are doing everything in their power to provoke the russians, which also doesn't bode well for the smaller ones that actually border them. Remember the whole Ukraine deal, sure the russians were assholes, but the EU did everything in their power to push the russians too.
This is true, but i think that the smaller countries that border Russia do also a lot to provoke Russia, and they support the hard EU stance against Russia. Personally, I would be happy if we could be friends with Russia

imo the more retarded you are, the more you can have a lot of childs because bad knowledge about contraception and shit. They're a lot of dumb people who think that they never had luck in their life, when they are able to vote in an election they believe that they got some kind of wizard power. This plus the fact that they're ignorant is enough to make them follow some dream seller with bullshit speech. For this i don't think that democraty is a good thing anymore

>but if Russia invades one of EU member states, Germany and France would have no other choice but to retaliate, otherwise the union would be dead.

this is why we have NATO.

A retaliation by France against Russia would lead to nuclear war, a nuclear war they'd lose, since they have nowhere near the nuclear capability as Russia.

So France wouldn't retaliate if Russia took Estonia. And Russia would know this. NATO, however, has the nuclear arsenal to retaliate, and Russia knows this too.

A better solution would be regional conventional alliances. This way, the cost of occupation would be too high for the Russians, even though they could theoretically "win".

Remember, even an unsupported Turkey is impossible to invade by Russia. Poland allied with the Baltics would be impossible to invade for the Russians too.

Russia is no longer the soviet union, they have nowhere near the same conventional capabilities. But their nuclear capabilities are no laughing matter. They have the ability to destroy the world, but not conquer it.

>a nuclear war they'd lose, since they have nowhere near the nuclear capability as Russia.
This relies on the assumption that the Russians are willing to risk a nuclear war, and that a nuclear war can be "won" by simply having more survivors. Even if Russia were to win this game of rocket tag, everything West of the Urals would be so utterly demolished Russia wouldn't recover for decades if not centuries.

Nobody uses nukes against people who also have them. Even if it's only one.

Yeah, it's beg for some liberators
