>moved out of parents 4 months ago >realize you basically have to be wealthy as fuck to live on your own in canada
How can anyone who isn't rich live on their own here? I've been eating rice and potatoes since I moved out because everything is so expensive
Jack Diaz
Learn to budget your shit. I live in Toronto making only $2000 a month and I manage just fine, I'm not doing well and thriving but I'm still here posting aren't I?
Joseph Robinson
How is your rent, must be high. Not op but I live in Toronto aswell.
Evan Flores
I also live in toronto and also make 2400 Do drugs and buy pizza from grocery stores, cheeper to make at home
Benjamin Gomez
I live in belleville and make 1500 a month and my rent is 975 utilities included
Aiden Watson
You need to start differentiating between necessity and luxury immediately. If you can get all your necessities- gas, electric, water, food, toothpaste, toilet paper etc. only then can you start to look at luxuries like even broadband. Sit down and work out how much you can afford to waste each week. Discount stores and charity shops are great places for the hard up- and if you find yourself with all your money for the next month at once, you will make sizable savings if you can shop at any wholesale warehouses- like Costco.
Caleb Gonzalez
>only 2000 a month

$800/month utilities not included, I live in Etobicoke. Jane and Eglinton area.
Bruh I make $14/hr as a Security Guard that I worked two year to get up to.
Josiah Thomas
Do you not have a job? If you work full time the least you can make is like 1400 cdn a month after taxes. A shithole bachelor pad is like 600 a month everything included, 50 bucks for Internet and 50 a week for food, 50 a week for transportation still leaves 350 for shit to do.
Camden Sanchez
Get a job serving, i can make over 100 dollars i tips on slow days and several hundred on fridays and Saturdays, plus still get 9 dollars an hour base pay.
I can afford a nice apartment downtown calgary and still have tons of cash to blow.
Jaxon Jackson
In Nova Scotia, renting the top floor of a house, have good Internet, a car, and pay for our own oil. Make 1500$ a month and still have spending money. What're you on about?
Jace Baker
Transportation is free I ride a bike because I can't afford transportation
Hunter Russell
>tfw spend 300 a month on alcohol
Eli Martin
Making $772 per month at part time job. Raising two teenage girls on that. No assistance from anyone. Rent is $750, bills are about $200. Food is expensive too. Thank Goddess I hunt, fish and garden; and thank Goddess for weed! If I didn't sell weed my kids would not have clothes, shelter or predictable nutrition. >I am a man, btw. >also an Amerifag -- WA. You Canadians are pretty much a Socialist country aren't you? So, quit yer bitchin'!
You try raising two girls on your own for 15 years with no help, then whine to me!
Cameron King
Literally this. I was making 3k+ a month and had $1500+ going into saving monthly in Ontario. If you think youre going to live on your own with a car on a part time minimum wage job, you're a fucking retard.
Nolan Howard
>probably makes thousands a month from weed
Jonathan Barnes
Actually, only profit less than $500 per month off of selling weed. Just enough to take care of my family. My kids are all I'm interested in. Not money, like all you stupid millenials.
Kevin Miller
Sup Forumsro if you want to make money then that all you gotta do your day should consist of rising with the sun to earn money, then going to sleep after make money exhaustion kicks into full gear. there is nothing else that matters. Then you will realize that you are all slaves , and money is worthless, but you can buy all the beer drugs and pussy to forget about that fact.
Jose Turner
OP here and Iktf it's where most of my money goes but it's impossible not to drink on weekends here
Michael Reed
Kill yourself Also tits or gtfo
Carson Torres
Are you retarded? You make 1500 a month and spend 300 on alcohol?
Julian Turner
> Get friends > Live together > Save a lot on bills > Buy food in bulk > Save on whores by having a "lolipop duty"
It's not THAT hard.
Bentley Cooper
>money is worthless, but you can buy all the beer drugs and pussy to forget about that fact. Hi Satan! Just how much money, alcohol, drugs & pussy exactly will it take before I forget that o am enslaving myself for the almighty dollar?
Lincoln Reed
she's a man, man
Jaxson Adams
Well I spend around 80 a weekend on alcohol
Ian Sanchez
those are just the fact, insted of working together to bring the worthless system down , your all fighting among eachother, in that context the other human being are your enemys , and you defeat them by haveing more money.
Tyler Edwards
That's about 79.50$ more than I do, on average. Get your priorities straight or man up for the resources you desire.
Sebastian Wright
Dude. Learn to make your own. It's easy.
Evan Bell
Yeah. Don't listen to the ethanol industry propaganda. You won't go blind from moonshine, if you're not a retard who forgets to throw away the first of the distillation aka the toxic alcohol.
Blake Howard
I'm not even talking about distilling. Just beer.
Leo Wright
True, I'm at Bathurst and Eglinton. Filipinos and Jews everywhere.
John Gutierrez
>Pretty much socialist Nah fam we beat the USA in most index's of economic freedom.
Nathaniel Reed

Zachary Smith
>Calls Canada a socialist country in previous post >Doesn't want to grow capital or earn more.
Caleb Miller
Youre an idiot if you complain about no money yet spent 80 a week on alcohol
Cooper Wilson

>lived with my kid in a 1-bedroom basement. >900/month including utilities and Internet >got 940 from welfare every month >got 480 from child tax benefits every month >60-80 bucks worth of groceries every week >treat myself and my kid with McDonald's once a month
I cooked every meal. It's cheaper that way. We don't go anywhere fun unless it's free because money was tight. Can't complain. Food and shelter will always be my priority.
Easton Martinez
WWOOFING and good karma.
Gabriel Richardson
Do you guys not have good jobs over there or what i thought Canadians had less unemployment
Anthony Martin
>Dude complain about a country fairly easy to live by yourself. >Blame money inflation and other mecanics he doesn't understand. >Think Canada is expensive.
>probably waste 50-100$ a week in alchool >Probably still smoke more than 2 pack a week >prolly refuse to work in low tier job and by normal priced clothes.
Dude, we live in the same country and I left the house with 2000$ to live on my own and It was far from being hard compared to many country I travelled to. Kick your own but and stop being the faillure your parents were happy to get rid of when you first packed your bags.
Jackson Cook
This nigga gets it. I'm only 22, have a 2 year old daughter. I make about $3000 a month. I commute about 30 minutes one way to work everyday. Live in an older house on 16 acres in the country, have a 2 car garage and a barn. Hunt and fish when I can. Grow all my own vegetables and a bit of weed just for personal use. Preserve a lot of food to save on grocery bill. Heat my house with wood i cut off my own land. Mortgage is $600 a month so I'm left with a pile of disposable income
Elijah Hall
u sound awsome whats ur day job
Jayden Mitchell
Diesel tech. Took a course at local cc when i was 18. Lived in a meh-tier basement apartment for 2 years while working like a nigger and scrimping all the monies. Bought my house when I was 20
