I'd say the sitar

The skin flute barely makes a sound and is hardly sonorous

Instruments are tools. If you pick the wrong tool for the job, there isn't a problem with the tool, the problem is with the user.

I dare you to find one worse than this.

english horn

Ah man this is funny. What will those hue monkeys come up with next?

guitar

This "instrument"
youtu.be/FwRVRGTpXWQ
Woah, eat shit.

this.
also this fucking thing never sounds good

>not liking Good Vibrations

Harmonica

And i'm a Dylan fan too, but his Harmonica solos are boring as fuck.

electric guitar is by far the worse sounding shit ever

Trumpets make everything sound lame.

I can't think of one that sounds bad even if it's being used well

that sounds like every metal song ever

totally forgot about that... baka you're right.

You must be joking.

folk harp a shit

great for blues though, especially electric

based he can make rapping sounds

That actually an electro-theremin which has two knobs you actually need to touch.

>In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

this is amazing

ladies love him

>good

Those are singing saws, dumbass

Listen to American football

Oh, I forgot to mention a classic; Captain Beefheart's Autumn's Child:

Saxophone. Not the worst, but sounds so annoying in lots of contexts

>niggerfloop

nice digits but terrible post

the organ can ruin a song, which is the case in some the doors songs

you bloody making it up, what's next, singing hammers?

i understand WHY but i don't like it, that's all.

fucking ruin jazz for me

t. Retard

>implying it sounds different

oboe is nice af
clarinet and bassoon sound like shit imo
you picked the wrong woodwind

Recorder.

There are several instruments that does it's job 10 times better too, so it's also completely meaningless in that sense.

Bassoon can sound shit in many context but I've certainly heard pieces where the bassoon shines.
For instance this aria by JS Bach.

But it's so fun to play~

I can't imagine a traverso being used in this pieces. So no, the recorder has it's place.

Singing saws are a real thing m8

They sound p cool

But it sounds so bad.

maybe it's your ears.

Vibraslap

Xylophones

you bloody making it up, what's next, caroling pipe wrenches?

No i mean, the recorder is being backed by all these other instruments masking it

Beat boxing Jackhammers?

You could probably make some interesting industrial trap by sampling power tools

Based on how fast those pneumatic tools go it would be more like industrial speed-core.

It's a concerto, it is supposed to have section with a lot and with little accompaniment.

meanwhile, mellotrons make anything sound better

fucking guitar.

The Largo from
Dvorak: The Symphony No. 9 in E Minor "From the New World" proves you wrong.

>Implying

kys

Yes, i am aware.
But i think i would've liked it more without the recorder, it doesn't add much to the song.

Violins sound like shit on their own

For me its a tossup between hurdy gurdy and cuica.

youtube.com/watch?v=QHmML7bu-iM
youtube.com/watch?v=mmlK94QvwiA

I picked kind of a sweet hurdy gurdy vid, doesn't really do the instrument justice

youtube.com/watch?v=lybppp0-jUI

if you're shit maybe. also regarding the OP orchestral string sections are the best sounding by far
