I like Ege Bamyasi better.
Still need to listen to Tago Mago.
Tago Mago obviously
Literally the greatest rock album of all time. So it's impossible.
although i love ege, future days is just perfect. Tago Mago is like equal to ege.
Fucking plebs.

8.5/10
7/10 (Faust Tapes, I, IV, Ravvivando and Derbe Respect, Alder are much better albums)
Neu 75 is 10/10 but the best krautrock is this overlooked bootleg
hipster
who isn't a hipster on this board?
you make a valid point
this and Future Days are tied
I honestly like Faust much more when they do poppy songs. I don't get the appeal of songs like Krautrock or most of 1 because it's basically just noise. Like i understand how groundbreaking it was at the time, but it's mostly just noise. Haven't heard that bootleg though so i'll check it out cause Kraftwerk is the best.
So Far > IV > Faust Tapes > 1
Not me, my favorite band is Coldplay
I respect your opinion, man, they were meant to be the "German beatles" after all. However, I think in terms of "pop" songs I prefer the ones on IV like Jenifer and The Sad Skinhead, while So Far isn't really strong outside the singles.
That Kraftwerk bootleg is more like a lost Neu! album featuring Florian Schnider. If you like Kraftwerk's first album you should definitely check it out, it is album Side B of Kraftwerk II should have been IMO.
I see that, IV was the first album i heard from them and it really stuck with me. In terms of good pop songs i think IV is better but So Far has so many different things going on, It's a Rainy Day is so fucking catchy and interesting to me despite being intentionally simplistic. No Harm is a total jam, sounds punk almost and i love hearing proto-punk in my krautrock.
I actually love the first kraftwerk album, listening to the bootleg now. Really cool version of ruckzuck
just leave this board already, montie...
not krautrock
