We do you gigantic retard, but this being an mostly english website, there wouldn't be much point discussing it. It still gets discussed, there's plenty of /sudaca/ music threads

That, and (((globalism))) has definitely affected the cultural shape of sudamerican music. Either you do bland, mediocre copies of North American music, or you make retarded music for the uneducated pleb/poor people (ie brazil funk) There's still good music being made, but its harder to find and it doesn't enjoy mainstream appeal
