Call of Duty Cinematic Universe

This broke news a while ago

cinemablend.com/new/Call-Duty-Getting-Its-Own-Cinematic-Universe-Get-Details-92977.html

Which one do you want to see on the big screen?

Modern Warfare trilogy?

Black Ops trilogy?

I'd love to see Modern Warfare 2's campaign on the big screen.

Who should direct?

>"TELL ME ABOUT THE NUMBERS MASON"
>it ain't me starts playing

Cast Sgt. Griggs

that guy that isnt Anthony Mackie but gets similar roles

>Movie adaption of the 'No Russian' level

Oh yes please my sides would never recover

Terrance Howard?

The world has been your battlefield. Everywhere you go the blood of brothers & sons screams out against you. Perhaps you cannot yet hear it, because the soil is not your own. But you will.

You will.

The "EAZY" guy from that Seagal movie

I want Soap and Ghost and Roach and Ramirez.

to be honest, I never played cod4, only MW2 and 3.

Black ops 1 would make the best movie for sure.

Cast Captain Price, a heroic Brit that's red-pilled as fuck.

Statham

MW1/2 or Blops 1 would be great.

50,000 people used to live here.
Now its a ghost town.

>Who should direct it
Bay obviously

I want WW2 CoD. If not do Black Ops

Not sure. I only play multiplayer. Were the campaigns any good? I'd actually like to see super advanced weaponry and thrust jumping in a movie.

Cast Gaz, a brit that enjoys dry humor and calls everyone a bloody wanker.

Important: must be likable as fuck.

Start with Call of Duty 1 and go from there.

Actually no never mind that sounds like shit

Statham. All Brits will be Statham, like an Eddie Murphy flick. Pure kino

Before seeing 13 Hours I'd groan at this. After seeing it, I hope Bay gets involved.

>What the hell kind of name is "Soap" eh?

Cast John "Soap" MacTavish

A badass in every sense of the word.

Must look good with a Mohawk and MUST be British

the campaigns were honestly fucking great.

more entertaining than most war films.

>How'd a muppet like you pass selection?

>I lost 30,000 men in the blink of an eye
>and the world just fucking watched

Black Ops 3's campaign is literal kino

Bay won't direct it because he would want too much control

So we'll get a wannabe Bay-film by some inexperienced fuckwit straight out of the indie film scene who doesn't understand how to direct compelling action and is forced to direct-by-numbers with meddling studio execs who are scared of a flop

Tom "big guy" Hardy

he's in everything, why not this too

RAMIREZ

CAST ME RIGHT THE FUCK NOW AND THEN GET YOUR ASS TO BURGER TOWN AND GIVE ME SOME COVERING FIRE

Adam Baldwin grows a handbar mustache.
Casted as Commander Sheppard

Who will be casted to voice the "OUR UAV IS ONLINE" guy?

Cod 1 Russian campaign would be war kino

Jamie Foxx

Good choice, m8

As much as I feel so so towards BO3 overall, I really do like the story a lot. It's essentially a cyberpunk take on Jacob's Ladder and it's quite good. I especially like the mission where you fight through the housing complex from Dredd.

Also Chris Meloni is a surprisingly good VA.

Cast Makarov

Hard mode: No Russian

Just kidding, he must be Russian

>by some inexperienced fuckwit straight out of the indie film scene who doesn't understand how to direct compelling action and is forced to direct-by-numbers with meddling studio execs who are scared of a flop

when do I start senpai

THE NUMBERS MASON

WHO SHOULD PLAY ME?

LOLWUT? What's the purpose? Over the years devs tried to make CoD gaming experience to become more and more cinematic like. Now the very game looks like a generic B-class action movie about another special ops squad. I'd rather see a SpecOps:The Line movie.

Name the actress with the sexiest voice.

She'll be mission control, and/or voice all the drones. (they won't be quite Portal/GitS-Tachikoma level, but they will be comic relief)

Or they'll get the one who did GlaDOS to do it.

>tfw the Halo films never happened
>tfw it's too late now that 343 butchered the franchise

>Spec Ops: The Line
Single most overrated game of the 2010s. Undertale included.

Idris Elba

price isn't a bald manlet

Cast this guy

but in that game, just like Bioshock, the story's twist relies on being a Video Game for full effect.

You can't shame an audience into the fact that they kept watching Spec Ops like the game shames the player for playing it

Shit tier elysium flick

Idris Elba

Keith David

Do this movie

Sam Worthington was his VA, why not

I'm not justifying the hype, lad. The story itself was cliched as fuck, but the result was pretty emotional. 2/3 of a game was alike to that last fight in 13 Hours: Soldiers of Bengazi

Keith David.

Why are there no women in CoD?

cut the ending monolog/dialog, make the protags more likeable at first and totally fucking psychopath at the end and you got yourselves a kino.

Now, how the hell do you cast motherfucking Viktor Reznov?

Pretty good idea, HOWEVER, Far Cry Blood Dragon movie..

Aiden GIllen

>flop ops
>hype

>Thinking that would matter when he always has his hat on.

Kung Fury already exists

Is Alex mason in 3? I need to play it.

good point lad.

Just make a series out of Simon 'Ghost' Riley, honestly, its the only thing people loved

You should see last year's (or was it this?) Diablo.

Perfect

Fund it right fucking now

General Shepherd... we need someone red-pilled as fuck.

Gary Oldman?

I actually love this idea. CoD may be one of the most retarded game series but I love over the top military shit. I really wonder what setting it will take place in considering the games are all over this future shit now.

Was p.big on all these Ukrainian sand-blasting forums like Sup Forums, krautchan and reddit

No doubt the Battlefield games will be turned into their own cinematic universe to compete now.

So who's going to play him in the Battlefield 1 movie?

Can someone tell me if the campaign in Ghosts was any good?

No it's pretty seperated from the previous games which sucked. But the main character is John Crichton which is a lot more fun than Worthington

Obv. Boyega

Maybe, Gary Oldman voiced Renzov, so he is familiar

Sam Shephard
William Hurt

We need the Price/Reznov movies leading up to the inevitable team up saga

Black ops 3 has more or less nothing to do with the previous trilogy of WaW, BO and BO2. Just a brand put on to sell

yuri boyka

eh that's fine.

I stopped at Black Ops 2 but is Ghosts connected to Modern Warfare 3?

BF:BC when?

Shaq

say no more, senpai

God damn I loved Bad Company. More loose and fun, not too serious of a game but so much destruction to be had.

Been playing BF:4 online and it's got the worst maps of the series, how that is possible, I have no idea.

Ghosts is a seperate universe, so if Advanced warefare new timelines.

>SOME FOLKS ARE BORN

perfect 2bh.

paracel storm is a thing of beauty tho,

My favourite maps are Locker and Siege of Shanghai. Locker can be intense because of the map design/size. I miss BF:2 and the community

not bad but it shouldn't interfere with Deadpool 2.

But MW was just a C+ specops movie that is barely different from straight-to-DVD/BR action flicks

>oh look badass SAS and US Muhreens
>the enemy is a Russian and Middle Eastern guy for the 3457374534050345034 time
>OH SHIT NUKES
>SAS saves the day but everyone else is dead

they are popular.

How would you film this AC-130 Section in MW1?

Only cockpit vision or only from the ground? Or maybe edit between both perspectives?

...

They already did that with Bayformers

It will also be CGI

Black Ops, Ghosts and that one cowadoody with a Hollywood A-lister makes a better movie

MW is just too cliche and generic, it would work if this were the 80s

Are we entering the age of vidya kino?

When is the Halo movie coming out?

the cod cinematic universe could be cool if done right, ie
>first film in world war 2, western front, done by a decent director
>hopefully second film also in ww2 from a different perspective (eastern front, pacific)
>next film in vietnam, black ops basically
>then modern warfare
>then advanced warfare/black ops 2
>then infinity warfare
>follows characters through the generations
But knowing hollywood, they'll probably start with a modern warfare story

Metal Gear Rising: Reveangence: The Movie when?
memekino is next kino

I'm sure you could edit the script and make it decent.

The action set-pieces are fantastic in MW1.

It just needs some more character development and it'll work.

IT'S TIME TODD
DO YOU WANT TO BE THE LAST BIG AMERICAN PUBLISHER WITHOUT A FUCKING MOVIE

>NO MGR2 ANNOUNCEMENT THIS YEAR
