Bond thread

Just so we can all agree:

>Patrician
From Russia With Love
On Her Majesty's Secret Service

>Pretty good
Casino Royale
Licence to Kill
Goldfinger
The Spy Who Loved Me
The Living Daylights
Thunderball
GoldenEye
Tomorrow Never Dies

>Good
Dr. No
You Only Live Twice
Diamonds Are Forever
For Your Eyes Only
The World is not Enough
Skyfall

>Meh
Spectre
Live and Let Die
The Man with the Golden Gun
Moonraker
Octopussy
Quantum of Solace

>Shitty
Die Another Day

>Absolute garbage
A View to a Kill

find a way to fuck off

The main reasons people still discuss Bond so much is because there is no "agreement" or "consensus." Aside from the first three Connery films which almost everyone likes, there is no film the franchise that isn't hotly debated.

IMO the best ones are You Only Live Twice, On Her Majesty's Secret Service and Licence to Kill.

any Brosnan above Dr. No
wew lad

I really enjoyed Spectre and Goldfinger belongs in patrician.

> from Russia with love
I agree my negro

>casino royale
>good
pick one

truth

all of the Craig films belong in meh tier

>Skyfall
>good

live and let die
From Russia with Love
On her majesty's secret Service

I wonder if the worst bond knows he was in one of the best bond films..

How did they go from God-tier Goldeneye to straight up embarrassing Die Another Day?

The special effects are so bad it could've come out in the early 80s

Live and Let Die is a fun mix of Bond and blaxploitation, and it has one of the best lead Bond girls. That said it's hardly one of the best
Moonraker is the best Moore Bond
yeah skyfall was meh, but it was prob the best ....action movie they could of made,... but it wasnt a bond film. WHich is sad, bc Specter was a bond film and it wasnt as well recieved

Real shame because I like Brosnan's Bond. Moore has more better Bond movies than him.

I agree, Dr. Quin is the best. But i think that the movie is just fun, the boat chase is great, and it really sets the tone for the moore films right out the gate.

>Moonraker is the best Moore Bond
The Spy Who Loved Me exists so it's not the best, but it's definitely one of the most fun Bond movies

I really like Roger Moore! And I think he's on par, if not better than, Brosnan's Bond. Was just disappointed we didn't get a lot of good movies out of Brosnan.

It's fun for sure, but I never understood why Bond was the one on that case. Seems like something the FBI/DOJ should be taking care of, a rather low-priority job for someone like 007

Why does she wear the mask?

>Spectre was a Bond film

Not really. It had the same problems Skyfall had and a plot even more retarded than Skyfall.

MR is more fast-paced and has a far better villain. Hugo Drax is fucking awesome

Also Barbara Bach is sorely miscast as Agent XXX, her accent is atrocious and she comes off more like a rookie than a top agent.

Those are actually sunglasses.
And she wears sunglasses so she can keep track of the visions in her eyes.

> It had the same problems Skyfall
I liked Skyfall, but many people complain that they talked too much about Bond's age. That wasn't really present in Spectre.

>Tomorrow Never Dies is pretty good
