Yep; exactly. What I like even more is the way in which it does it: Ie. because it helps you by shaping beliefs, opinions and perspectives, it's a much more permanent outcome. So you don't need to keep taking it to treat your depression symptoms like you would with antidepressants. I haven't even touched acid in months now, but the philosophical and introspective effects of it are still with me. Meanwhile, people I know in therapy and on meds seem to only be getting enough help to curiously keep them in more therapy and on more meds. But I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
