Bourgeoisie gonna bourgeois

what did she do to win an award

I sometimes doubt the US is a real place

suck dick, get face-fucked, have others write songs for her, and perform around the globe

Humanitarian Award for what? Making fugly chicks with fiveheads think they're fuckable everywhere???

It is and I grew up in it. A cancer of this planet.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_authoritarian_regimes_supported_by_the_United_States

If you can't understand why she won and deserved that award.
You're as big as a moron as every rasict that exist.

>"She built a state-of-the-art center for oncology and nuclear medicine to diagnose and treat breast cancer in her home nation of Barbados. She created the Clara and Lionel Foundation Scholarship Program - named for her grandparents - for students attending college in the US from Caribbean countries.
She also supports the Global Partnership for Education and Global Citizen Project to provide children with access to education in more than 60 developing countries."

Wanna see a better post?

doesn't she just make music
did she hold an event for a charity or something? I don't read a lot of news about Rihanna

Hell yeah. Work, Ri. I didn't know any of this. I mean obviously her music is more entertainment than art, but it's awesome when pop artists contribute to something.

So she's basically funding immigration and globalism? Really humanitarian

>rich motherfuckers throw 'He's a prestigious award you're a fucking hero'

They don't have to give any of their money, user. It's a very kind gesture, even if it's just PR. In this case, the motivation isn't important, it's the gesture itself.

How many centers for oncology and nuclear medicine have you built? How many times have you volunteered for anything?

You guys are right maybe I'm just being a jerk

>money laundering
>tax evasion
>kind gesture

>famous person with literally nothing else going on spends 1 day of their cushy life to appear in a place
>famous person with more money than the average citizen will ever even get to think about donates famous person who could blend cash and drink it for breakfast does something that they should be doing anyways
I volunteer 10 hours a week at a care center, where's my award?

I'm not even the one you're responding to but that's a fucking stupid argument, user. I have volunteered over 1000 hours in my city's community (that I can account for) but I still don't think someone needs to volunteer their time or donate their money to criticize an award.

nowhere. you've been cucked by the elite, faggot. get used to it

>he fell for the volunteering meme

You're not a famous, influential figure. You guys don't get it. When celebrities do stuff like this, it influences other people to do it. It becomes the cool thing to do. When an average person does it, of course it's appreciated and respected, but you're not influencing millions of other people.

>state-of-the-art center for oncology and nuclear medicine (really fucking expensive, requires more than carelessly throwing away money)
>4 million in assets for Clara Lionel Foundation in 2014 (2.5% of her net worth which is 160 mil)
>Advocate/Global ambassador for Global Partnership for Education (requires actually talking to people/doing work instead of just throwing money at problems)
If there's anyone that's legit deserving in the pop music world for such stuff it's her. Maybe if this was Jay-Z you would have a point considering how systematic his approach to donating/advocacy is.

>When celebrities do stuff like this, it influences other people to do it. It becomes the cool thing to do
Just like they influenced people to vote for Hillary.

>. I have volunteered over 1000 hours in my city's community
What where you doing?

ya can't begrudge her at least throwing money at some good causes

but it's true, the people who built and run those centers are the bigger heroes

Cool, but you don't make a large scale difference in the lives of many people like somebody like Rihanna does. Stop being so goddamn bitter.

>rich fuckers laundering money by donating it to third-world shitholes
>legit

How is that relevant to what we're discussing right now?

What the fuck.....get your shit together, Murrica.

>only I say how much another person should donate!
Nah

It's relevant because it shows the only people these freaks can actually influence are little kids who can't actually do the stuff they're influencing them to do.

>she helps patient cancers t osurvive & improve schooling for thousands of people
>meanwhile user post anime pictures & jerk off to traps AND whine all day.
suuuuure, Rihanna deserves nothing.

Oh shes good at tax write offs what a great human beaning

>I have volunteered over 1000 hours in my city's community (that I can account for)
Reporting safe art spaces doesn't count.

>but you don't make a large scale difference in the lives of many people like somebody like Rihanna does
He also doesn't promote the destruction of western values and degeneracy on the mass scale like Rihanna and other celebrities, so he's actually probably done more good than any of them without even trying.

If just feel that if you have contempt for the bourgeois you should express it in a more intelligent way than criticizing the one positive influence they can have on society, spending their money to help others. Especially if you haven't done anything similar in terms of using your time or income to help others. This should be applauded and eventually required, so its' dumb to bash it

>muh r/conspiracy tinfoil hat
vibe.com/2017/01/rihanna-global-ambassador-for-education-malawi/
^there she's actually doing work and stuff for the GPE like I said in that post. Really hope I am being trolled at this point, because you would be on some next level of bitter autism otherwise

this entire site is a cesspool of degeneracy and a constant showcase of what "western values" are and always has been. You're a fucking loser like all the rest of us, and you're a western loser.

nice projection cuckboy

Dude's bitter as fuck though. The bitterness coming from him is the epitome of Sup Forums and the degeneracy this place is known for.

Nigga, Hillary won the popular vote. but I'm not going to let you turn this into left vs right nonsense. The point is, celebrities and famous people are awarded for donating because they can do more good than someone who isn't famous, due to their influence.

>she's promoting the destruction of western values and degeneracy!
>uh cuck! cuck! You're like the white guy in those cuckold pornos I watch!

wow you're destroying western values you degenerate

What work exactly? She's spending money "educating" people whose average IQ is barely above someone with actual Down's syndrome, instead of investing into educating areas where children have actual potential. She's basically just helping spawn even more AIDS babies in Africa instead of doing actual charity.

But that's the thing. She advocates where there's non-existent levels of education, so those would be places where there's actually the most potential. Those are also the places that need such a thing the most. It makes more sense to invest for a higher return in those areas than say...some white trash country spot in the South in the USA where such investments have led to low returns.

^that's just the part where she does the actual work aspect. The money of hers goes towards people in the Caribbean trying to get into American colleges. Even with quotas, people still have a FAR harder chance getting in compared to anyone that's actually from the USA.

Otherwise the other major spending of money is into treatment stuff. Both very expensive, and very beneficial.

Honestly, if you showed me a picture of her and a picture of Beyonce I wouldn't know who's who.

>beaning

Fucking kek

I mean I started volunteering when I was around 9 with my siblings at a warehouse for donated school supplies to some of the poorer schools in my city. I'm only 20 now but I've volunteered at a lot of places since then, hence why I have so many hours. Now I'm tutoring high school students in Pasadena and volunteering sorting at a warehouse for medical supplies shipping to places like SEA and Central/Eastern Africa. Despite this, I don't think I'm somehow superior to others nor do I believe I'm more qualified than others to speak on matters like this.

What is a safe art space?

I know, I wasn't the one who said that. I don't agree that they expressed themselves well. After all, how can you by greentexting ffs? However, you should still be able to criticize awards like these and their meaning.

>Despite this, I don't think I'm somehow superior to others
Show me where Rihanna said she was superior to you or others

I never said she did. That was in reference to what I believe is implicit in this .

>rich people giving us back some of the billions they steal is now humanitarian

>they forced me to buy a Rihanna album!!

>Rihanna is accepting the honor of Harvard’s Humanitarian of the Year today at the university’s campus today.
Wow, great writing pitchfork
