We just put up some cassette tapes, containing our full discography. They're extremely DIY, and extremely limited. I don't own a duplicator, so each cassette was recorded in real time. All of the j-cards, labels, and inserts were made by hand. I used whatever blank tapes I could find. They're all the same length and contain the same songs, but some are made by Sony, some are TDK, some are Maxwell, etc. Each tape is truly unique. The sound quality might not be amazing, but its black metal.
I'm in the process of recording more tapes, but as I mentioned before, I'm recording them in real time, so its taking a while. Rest assured, though. If you want one, you will get one.
I deleted the little project i put up last thread, no one listened and when i triedto listen to it i cringed in less than 30 seconds

This is pretty neat stuff.
I haven't actually gotten around to shadow data until now. I dig it. I appreciate how restrained it is, yet still manages the doomed mood it does.
I'm into no-wave, but I can get this. You have a nice tone of the scraped guitars around the 3:45 mark.
I dig this as fuck, holy balls. Although the dynamics seem backwards (in Fade Away from Rehearsal II), but the emotion of it is fantastic.
You're beautiful, too, my dude.

Recommending this any time a bandcamp thread is "pretty much dead" before it hits autosage.
some threads just die out super quickly and it's unfortunate but it's also life

Working on an acoustic EP. Here's one song that'll be on it. I'm going to redo the vocals because the timing is off in a couple spots. Let me know what you think.
Listening to this now; I'm noticing it's very subtle, volume-wise. One has to listen to it in a very quiet room (or with good headphones, which I don't have). I quite enjoy this. I'm finding I quite like the darker kind of vaporwave I've found in the BC threads. Is there a term for "Dark Vaporwave" yet?

Check out my new single "Tricaine". It's an approximately 34 minute ambient drone piece with some field recordings at the beginning and ending, as well as some noise elements.

Does anyone here have any experience with Ztapes?
I've been meaning to get a bandcamp account for a while and I saw that they deliver tapes with some extra gifts and whatnot, so I bought their xmas collection tape.
Don't know how long it will take for them to be delivered though.
Are there any similar bandcamps that do stuff like this?

Digging these:
>spend about 30 mins listening to various projects and writing reviews incl. fav tracks for a post
>navigate to a different browser tab
>try to navigate back and accidentally click on the little x to close it
fuck.
I learned the hard way if you write walls of text, copy your progress oftenly so it won't get lost if you fuck up.
There's a Firefox extension made exactly for that kind thing.
Don't recall its name though.
Hey there, I've had a lot of experience with Z Tapes, the guy who runs it is quite lovely and the tapes themself are of a really good quality.
If you've just ordered a tape it will likely take a lot longer than usual to get to you as he's just gotten married the other day.
Oh, alright then. Congrats to him.
Does he browse here or something by any chance?
I actually do not know, he's got a great knack for finding really obscure stuff made by people in their bedrooms, so I guess he might do to some extent? But I think he mostly just uses something like Bandcamp or Soundcloud itself to find new music.

We have a new full length coming out that features some guests that you may or may not be familiar with...I'm looking forward to its release seeing as it's the first album I think I've put a ton of effort into. Not sure when it'll be out but we're planning on a 2017 release. Also I've already assembled 10+ songs for the next album in demo form.
