What I think will happen is that the popularity of these parties, largely spurred on by discontent, will push the more electable parties towards a more patriotic stance, Ie; less refugees, less non-european immigrants. Europe isn't in the best place right now but it's also doing alright. Our societies haven't collapsed, our economies are relatively stable, nothing disastrous has happened. Do we want change? Sure. People want change all the time. But the situation here isn't so bad that it motivates a whole population to encourage radical nationalistic change. Ironically, the only thing that could do that would be even MORE mass immigration, even MORE incompetent socialist governments, even MORE multiculturalism, terrorist attacks etc.
