I think that a porn tape would save her career and my dick

i can't form an opinion on her new song but i think i'll end up settling on it being trash

Had good production on first album and some not bad lyrics.

I just wish we could have got the instrumentals, the backing is great.

not my shit but shes aight.

Its fine. Inoffensive vocals, pretty generic percussion, her songwriting seems pretty in-touch.

Her new song sucks. Pure Heroine is ok

On the serious side, I kinda think Lorde isn't capable (or doesn't want) to make or pick a traditional cathartic chorus. I look at Magnets and Green Light, she preaches that liberation but the music doesn't follow. And really, it's the same with almost all her songs. She doesn't strike me as a chorus builder.
When I think about her good songs, they have the same feeling throughout and the best part of a song of hers is almost never the chorus. What gives?

I want to know Sup Forums's opinions on Green Light.

They think it's shit. I think it's ok, a bit bland. Replays didn't do much. She had worse songs.

I wish she would stop laffin and post on Sup Forums

>i can't form an opinion on her new song because I haven't read/seen a review from pitchfork or fantano
pathetic

The people that create and make pop stars, more or less, have decided to embrace her along with Adele and Alessia Cara as the new branch of 'authentic' pop. It's pretty obvious, considering all those scenes in her new music video where she's wearing almost no makeup.

Anyways, I don't like most of her stuff -- Royals made me roll my eyes almost every time it came on the radio -- but I really liked Green Light and I'm interested in what TPTB have in store with her.

Made for radio. Pretty safe. 6 or 7/10 I guess.

She said most of the album doesn't sound like it so I'm optimistic

Always makes me think of my trip to Nova Scotia, about a year after she blew up and was already off the radar, they were still playing Royals about every 45 minutes on the radio.

I think Pure Heroine is a great album.
I really enjoy her lyrics.

DROPPED.

best song she's (co)written

i can get behind this

OP here, I think its shit. I hope Melodrama isn't like Green Light at all.

Just checked her latest song on YT. She lost her unique style. Cant blame her, she went mainstream for that sweet money, cant always be doing light avant garde stuff i guess.

Lana Del Rey on the other hand is still going strong, shes gonna keep pumping out great stuff.

Adele is legit, she doesn't need to sell out because her style already fits into mainstream but she is still a great artist. I love royals, i juts like that artsy dream like pop, reminds me of Nicholas Windin Refn movies.

Lorde looks like she is gonna lose it unfortunately, her latest song is already leaning heavily into generic.

o v e r r a t e d

she's what basic-ass white people think listening to will make them look more """"hipster"""" / """"indie"""" . she's treated almost like a more serious mac demarco –basically mac demarco without any of what makes mac demarco good.

I like her a lot. I just hate her new song. I'll get over it if the next few don't suck.

who the fuck is mac demarco nigga

is p4k still relevant

>mac demarco
