When I think of 'him' touching something like 'The Wreath of the Unknown Soldier' or walking through 'Arlington National Cemetery', speaking in the halls of Congress... I feel ashamed and appalled, unable to reconcile any of this with who and what he is, without honor and dignity, without compassion, without basic humanity.
Now that I have written this I realize I do not want to lose these feelings of loss and sadness. As long as I continue with them I will also have the opposite balance of hope and a better future for all of us.

America doesn't command the kind of influence that it did few decades ago. This is a multi-polar world where multiple power centres are emerging and countries are looking for more countries on their side. It just happens that US and China are the two biggest players. Trump's stand on a few key policies like Climate Change and TPP gives China that edge. To beat China the logical route is not to isolate them as that isn't remotely possible but to outplay them in almost every aspect.
