Luis Brooks
well Duh. Wonder why I never him refereed to as Sir Mick. I always hear Paul and Elton refereed to as "Sir". But never hear Mick refereed to as his title...weird
Grayson Baker

Nolan Miller
Oasis didn't have the staying power of the Bands or Artists where the lead singer got Knighthood. They certainly didn't have the impact of The Beatles nor the longevity of the Rolling Stones or Elton John.
Grayson Foster
it actually wasn't this time
John Campbell
Noel is the most relevant here in bongland out of all of them, gets mentioned in papers or radio everyother week it seems. McCartney still gets a razzle but Jagger and John have faded out pretty heavily here due to there affinity for the states.
Oasis were as close as you can get to The Beatles for most of Gen Y here.
Isaiah Diaz
Who was the last man to get Knighthood? Just a yank who is curious.
Gabriel Foster
Ken Dodd, probably They're handed out pretty regularly though
Noah Rivera
I reckon they would have been knighted if it wasn't for them sticking to their council estate roots during their rise and openly admitting drug use, getting into fights daily, and all of that.
From 94 to 97 they were on the front page daily. Noel was still on the front page the day Princess Diana was killed... that's how big they were back then.
Andrew Walker
I'm not sure, they give them out all the time except there's certain levels and tiers to them aswell, they also give out lots of honourary knighthoods to non commonwealth citizens, except you're not allowed to call yourself Sir unless you're a commonwealth citizen.
It's actually quite confusing.
Christopher Morgan
Yeah, seeing Oasis never really got that big in America alot of Americans don't realise how big Oasis were.
Benjamin Brooks
They award them at the start of the year and on the monarch's birthday. 22 basic knighthoods were made in January 2017.
I'd like to see that frontpage. Which newspaper was it?
Caleb Baker
Just one line. It's a great line though
Ayden Harris

>This is what plebs actually believe. Oasis are patrician. It's the "cool" opinion to dislike them within music circles.
People pick up a guitar and start learning how to play, within about a week they're saying, "Huh! Wonderwall hurrr durrr"... As if they could ever dream of writing a song like that.
