Scene was horribly, horribly executed. The idea behind it is fine, the one about Bruce realizing he's become that killer in the alley that night his parents died, they even flash the same fucking image again of his dad whispering "Martha" as he's dying just in case people didn't get it, but it was fucking terrible. It felt horribly contrived due to the dialogue and Lois showing up and shouting IT'S HIS MOTHER'S NAME! IT'S HIS MOTHER'S NAME! makes it seem like the scene really is about the fact that their moms have the same names.

It was fucking terrible and people who defend it are retarded. They're the same people who use the word "kino" unironically.
