Hey Sup Forums, what are some of your favorite or essential prog rock song epics like pic related, Echoes, 2112, All The Seats Were Occupied etc? I'm making a spotify playlist.
Should be at least 9-10 minutes but preferably longer, also neo-prog welcome for suggestion even though I haven't heard much I liked.
Spotify is gay, listen to albums. But here you go anyway:

Also, missed out the Alan Parsons Project's "The Fall of The House of Usher", which is massively underrated.

I took it for granted that OP was going to renounce his evil ways and immediately purchase all DGM products in at least 3 physical formats

update? i want this playlist
John Russell
Mike Oldfield - Ommadawn (better than Tubular Bells IMO.) 2/3 of the tracks on Krallice - Years Past Matter (a very progressive album IMO) Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor (the title track from that album.) Can also be listened in combination with the preceding track as a longer suite. Magma - Hortz Fur Dëhn Stekëhn West (and that whole album is also works as one suite.) Guapo - Five Suns (a 5-part suite from an album of the same name) Philip Glass - Koyaanisqatsi OST (you could also watch the movie-- it's literally a feature-length music video, and it's really good.)
Connor Green
Getting a bite to eat. Will update later probably
Also, I know King Crimson is not on spotify but I can still add local files to a playlist, though they won't be available on any other account but mine. I already did the same thing with Aphrodite's Child.
And thanks for all the recs
Adrian Rodriguez
It seems Mirage isn't on Spotify either. That's disappointing
Unfortunately a lot of the recs aren't on Spotify (Mirage, Five Suns, Ocean Cloud etc) so it's partially incomplete, was making me real mad. But if you download those songs you can add them as local files.
If anyone has any other suggestions feel free to speak up.
yeah while you listen to ads in between songs and use the internet

Fucking everything on this record.
Yeah, I know some of it may fall more under the category of new wave rather than prog, but fuck it. It's a beast of a record.

Speaking of, where can I actually find King Crimson's stuff online?
