i could definitely see that as being the case, (russia choosing to begin this pyschological campaign rather than a physical one during the cold war)
but part of me also feels that it was our own citizens who agreed and sympathized with communist/socialist ideals and began a campaign to spread those ideals within their own country using their tactics of ideological subversion and all that
kind of like a carrier agent if ye know what i mean
using a system that works as the mode of transportation while the ideology beneath it is slightly tweeked to include their own agenda ye know?
