Why can't Europe into cartoons that are entertaining for all ages? Everything comes out of Canada or the USA. France had what? Code Lyoko? And that wasn't even any good for anybody older than 12. Meanwhile North America has put out stuff like Spongebob, Gravity Falls, Samurai Jack, Ed Edd and and Eddy, The Ben10 series along with tons of other great all ages cartoons.

I'm an oldfag and only commie-times cartoons bring that nostalgia feel

I love the feel of the background of this, What's it called?

Also this, muminki were great

What about wakfu?

It's literally Finnish anime
youtube.com/watch?v=W_4Bjd7VEug
enjoy

Lolirock is "entertaining".

the way the camera moves is kind of unsettling.

I like nu, pogodi! most youtube.com/watch?v=e8OK1xS_oi0&t

It's not literally Finnish anime. It was produced in Japan like other anime. The storylines and characters are based on Finnish books and comics.

I started to rewatch all Soviet cartoons yesterday. i actually quite impressive how kind and naive all characters (except bad guys obviously)

Fenno-swedish books tbqh. Originals were in swedish but they've become associated with Finland more since that's the nationality of the author, rather than her main language.

Top stuff though.

>It's not literally Finnish anime. *proceeds to explain why it's literally Finnish anime*
wew lad
I'm pissed off to no end that this
youtube.com/watch?v=uMS80Y6cfgw
never got a proper remaster and DVD release.
Out of curiosity, was it available in Russia?

Fennoswedes are Finns. Not Swedes.

The books are actually quite based. And much more adult than the anime. The original material is not at all kids stuff, there's some rather adult material in it.

>for all ages
If you're entertained by cartoons you're simply not grown up yet. It's impossible to put themes stimulating both children and adults into such a simplified and limited format.

We don't remaster anything because people will just torrent it.

Well the Smurfs were based on a Belgian comic so you have that.

>Fennoswedes are Finns. Not Swedes.
It's a bit more complicated than that but let's not turn this into a sweden vs finland thread. There are too many of those.

>France had what?
France has Cat Noir and he does funny things with my dick.

...

Anything else to say apart from a toast with a face on it?

>spongebob

Cartoons are for kids, there are plenty of german cartoons kids watch but nothing for grown adults as it should be.

We occasionally do, but they're exclusively released in Japan, but they actually give a fuck about animation.

Meanwhile retards in charge of our televisions have this kind of mindset and all this neat stuff becomes completely forgotten.

ADHD garbage full of shouting and moronic "jokes".

...

...

You sure are trying hard.

Try Mézga Család. But that is not from the Europe you are thinking of.

I am 23 and I feel the same, after all they were aired even decades after they were made.

>It's impossible to put themes stimulating both children and adults into such a simplified and limited format
muhammad and co done that more than 1000 years ago

Someone enjoys cartoons, someone enjoys Forklift Simulator 2017.

I think the most important thing is where it was written, directed and produced. Not the country of origin for what it's based off of. Otherwise every anime with epic hero's journey structure could be considered western animation which would be retarded

>but they actually give a fuck about animation.
I mean *because they give fuck

Speaking of local cartoons, I fucking love this scene, it's so trippy and comfy at the same time:

>You will never trap and bully a little blonde sprite

Why live?

I've seen it reposted a bunch of times, where is this from?

...

Why wouldn't he be serious?

France had Oban racers or something like that that was pretty good

youtu.be/9gs--yUHSg8

Because they all go to the US/Canada where it pays better/is subsidized by the government.

European cartoons are mostly just anime clones.

...

>cartoons for all ages
That's called cartoons for people with low IQ

Let's face it, all those you listed either aren't "for all ages" or their "for all ages" is based on "we are so stupid/disgusting and everything we do and everything around us is also stupid/disgusting too, now laugh at us"

>Říkání o víle Amálce

What cartoons do you consider "adult"

>Thus was spoken the most german thing that had been and would be uttered all day.

Ease up, hans jörg, fun isn't banned everywhere in the world, you know

Germany jesus christ you're like the angry dad of countries

but I like the Krokodil..

>nobody is dumping french cartoons by the truckload itt
Europe is dead

Belgium has Tintin
France has Once upon a time...

maybe because, you know, cartoons are for kids

France had these. It was very popular during the 80's youtube.com/watch?v=2cDoHH37FMk

>ywn be an Italian kid who watched Go Nagai shows like Grendizer or Devilman

This, Swedish flag is on speed again.
It's like saying Ticino people are Italians but they are not, they are Swiss.
