>10/10 aotysf

I like it way better than her other single

>not already having Spotify open

10/10 much better than Green Light

It's better than "Green Light" but still isn't that good.

Insipid just like everything else I've heard from her.

>bump

bump

better than green light

booooooooooooring. i swear that piano melody featured on 10000 other songs.

>it's a sad song must have sad piano episode
No thanks

Not even close to being better than Green Light

>Having Spotify open

This is even worse than Green Light
Goddamn why does Lena Dunham have to ruin everything

>Lena Dunham

Her boyfriend produced and co-wrote most of the album

i agree i cant believe people think its "so much" better than green light. green light sucked ass too but it was better than this

green light was kinda disappointing, this one is just shit.

there's a way to do stripped down without being generic and boring, and I think the strength of lorde's first album was the production, not the lyrics or her voice.

>swiftly losing hope for new album

I think at this point the only thing we can do is hope that the singles being released are supposed to draw in some new audience and her marketing people are just really fucking bad at their job and picked the worst songs on the album to be made as singles.

>she's so hard to please
>but she's a forest fire
>I do my best to meet her demands
>play at romance, we slow dance
>in the living room, but all that a stranger would see
>is one girl swaying alone
>stroking her cheek

How do you write better, more mature lyrics at 15 than at 20?

She probably didn't write a lot of the lyrics on either album

>I think the strength of lorde's first album was the production, not the lyrics or her voice
I think literally everybody thinks that. Has her former producer done anything else?

shes hanging around with different people now

oh, jesus

Yeah, that's the one little hope I'm holding onto as well. I'm trying to think of specific examples, but I've definitely had a bunch of recent experiences where I hated the singles and ended up loving the rest of the album.
