ya know witching hour is a great album but i never checked their other stuff, let me get on that

if you liked wh i bet you will like their other albums too. if you'll looking for pure synthpop (heavily influenced by kraftwerk, visage and the human league), check their first two albums first.

Just listened to this today, It was quite good

Bats For Lashes - Two Suns

was synthpop revival even a big thing in the late 00s? I thought it was more of a 10s thing with stuff like grimes, chvrches. in that sense this was kind of ahead of its time

girls love this for some reason

I miss la roux she looked like tin tin

what you're supposed to be doing is hooking up with mid-30s divorced moms with only 1 kid (but still bangin') who remember electrelane and breaking it off before you ever have to meet the child

this is my dream

Is that cover intentionally referencing Low or is it just pure coincidence

>was synthpop revival even a big thing in the late 00s?
it was a pretty big thing. actually it started before that, in the early 00s: royksopp, goldfrapp, ladytron, miss kittin, covenant, apoptygma berzerk, vnv nation, mesh, the knife, client, and others.

chvrches

yes. la roux, lady gaga, little boots and ladyhawke were on the frontline of the new synthpop revival. there were some of articles dedicated to this revival, e.g.theguardian.com/music/2012/jun/02/ladyhawke-la-roux-little-boots

I never realised Bulletproof and In for the Kill got to number 1 and 2 respectively. I'm actually quite surprised - not that they're remotely experimental or owt but they're fairly off-kilter for a post-internet world. Didn't think it was possible for anything but the most manufactured pop to chart that high anymore. Bulletproof might actually be the last UK #1 that wasn't directly from the factory line.

anyone have a mega link?

get soulseek dude

>8 fucking years since this

i really fancied her, i wish hetero women styled themselves like that

>portrait shot

she's also a self-confessed bowie fanatic, it's prolly intentional

literally any of it, it's not like they can tell them apart from each other

this album was basically visions if the singer was talented and didn't have to drown out her voice in ridiculous amounts of reverb

What did he mean by this?

Bullshit. I like that La Roux album but Visions is on a whole new level. You're just too pleb to get into Grimes' music. Prove me wrong.
