I speak two of the four swiss languages and both of the finnish official languages, but I can't speak karelian
I still feel that I am finnish, I abide the finnish law and customs and couldn't be anything else than a finn
So:
- I don't have any finnish ancestry, so I cannot say that I am from the finnish nation
- I really can't call myself Swiss or Karelian, since I don't live in either (though I might in the future, I will prob inherit some real estate in Switzerland. Then, after integrating I might call myself Swiss)
- I don't associate myself with Switzerland or Finland just because I have their passports
- I have no finnish ancestry, but I speak finnish (better than many around me).
