I really haven't been motivated to work on my new stuff in a while. It's making me a little depressed desu but I don't want to try making something when I'm really not feeling it.
>even if I'd like some to hear some distortion/effects (reverb, delay) on the guitars to build an heavy wall of sound during the crescendo
not a bad idea, hmm... it's too late to add any of that to the new album, though
i wish i could do live shows
look i'll be honest, instrumental hip hop beats are not and will never be my thing. i just find them to be very ok and nothing else. i don't know how to objectively give you feedback to improve it.
lol saw those tweets, hoping he really does let you make some music for it, or at least uses your cool cat song

DON'T RUSH THINGS NEVER RUSH THINGS
I learned the fatal consequences today after committing it last week.
This DIY hip hop sound is pretty played out, but this is different. Very quiet overall, I like it.
Every single one of my albums is a product of rushing things
i wasn't really feeling the start of it, but as things got more layered i started to dig it. like the other fellow already mentioned, i feel like it'd be nice to see live
this is pretty enjoyable. i like how heavy the bass is, and a lotta the lead synth tones you use remind me a bit of Boards of Canada
i like Copy. parts of it remind me of Arkhaiomelisidonophunikheratos & Zap Meemees by Satanicpornocultshop

I'm sorry. Are you sure you are in the right place? Anyway, this isn't bad. The drums could be mixed better, but that's a minor complaint.
Good luck on Derek letting you score his film. I really like what you're doing.
My favorite release has to be Ode to Rob Schneider / Ode to the People.
I'd never thought I would hear IDM with extensive spliced anime samples. This is exactly what I needed.
This is what happens when Keiji Haino is born an Englishman. Love this!

i don't think i could ever do that...
sorry i don't give feedback much, i can't find the time often, the reason why is because i usually listen to the whole release
listening to valerian, it's happier than i expected, very dense too. interesting listen

I look forward to hearing the full album on bandcamp, I'm really enjoying this. Reminds me of Idiot Flesh/Sleepytime Gorilla Museum/Fawn Fables.
listening to this right now, very very fuckin cool
Far too gracious, but thank you very much!
I heavily recommended the captivating shadow data.
Thanks. I see your stuff all over soundcloud threads and from I heard there; I dig it. I'm liking what I hear from the Bleeding1987 album as well. Noisy, when ambient enough to give an eerie mood rather than assault the listener.
If you like what I heard, you get 8 additional minutes of material if you purchase it. But enough of my shilling.
when i saw someone describe this as Keiji Haino as an Englishman, i was expecting the violent, noisy side of Haino, instead of the wanky quiet improvised stuff he does. i just can't handle wank like this.
i love how everyone that bought this has an anime avatar and then there's just one guy with a joy division tshirt
Pine was fantastic, that wild mix of breakcore, idm, glitch, and anime makes for an intense yet seemingly organised mess of electronic sounds.
lads i luv
Personally, I like both his wank and his noisy side. If you don't appreciate both, you're not a Haino fan, I say. The artist in question also has noisier stuff earlier in his discog if that interests you. Also, I love that picture of Haino-san.
i would buy it for that but i have no money lol
I've seen this the past few threads, will listen soon
will also listen to this soon

i'm glad that you dig it. you should check out an artist named Rotten Blood. he does the IDM angle much better than me, and often has a grittier/darker feel (emotionally) too

this is so serene, great production too
This sounds like the interlude parts of really pretentious metal albums

The rest of the album is out next weak. I really liked this track though. The background noises are from a city wide power-out at a plasma donation clinic. The rest of the album is much more melancholic and has a lot more noise influences.
Just listened to this for the first time. Not really the type of rap I usually enjoy but I'm liking it so far, especially the production.

this is fucking cool. for some reason it got me nostalgic about playing f-zero-x with my cousins
this is good stuff. music for in the car late at night
I doubt anyone's still in here but the first vocal recording is done (the first in almost two years) so hey there's new progress. The song itself though is very strange though, so I don't know whether to release it.
