Post your favorite animated film or show that was written and directed in your country.
I'll start with Disney's The Fox and the Hound. I adore not only the animation style and character designs but the story and it's underlying messages about the changes that come with getting older and becoming an adult.
Probably something by Jean Chalopin. He wrote shitloads of stuff, like Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats, Inspector Gadget, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Ulysse 31...
Michael Butler
Fuck I forgot that existed, why did you have to remind me of this monstrosity?

The US and japan are the only two nations that make any animation that matters, and everyone else is just ripping them off
i tried to watch in english once but i couldn't stand the bad translation and voice acting. they even changed the ending. in the finnish dub the the king and his henchman die but in the english version they just realized the errors of their way and never bothered anyone again. sad!
thanks for posting this tho, might give it another try now

Mexican people can't draw for shit, much less make animated stuff, hence why there have never been any (good) animated films made in Mexico, except for a few shitty 3DCG films, most or all of which were aimed at kids.
