I adore not only the animation style and character designs but the story and it's underlying messages about the changes that come with getting older and becoming an adult.

i used to watch old soviet cartoons as a kid. most were drawn beautifully and had nice underlying morals woven into them.
ivan the magic pony (or whatever the fuck it's name was) is probably my favorite cartoon of all time. thank you for that, russian peoples

i tried to watch in english once but i couldn't stand the bad translation and voice acting.
they even changed the ending. in the finnish dub the the king and his henchman die but in the english version they just realized the errors of their way and never bothered anyone again. sad!

Mexican people can't draw for shit, much less make animated stuff, hence why there have never been any (good) animated films made in Mexico, except for a few shitty 3DCG films, most or all of which were aimed at kids.
