I wonder what kind of memes they have over there...
To be realistic, only 3 of those 7 planets are trully "earth-like"
2 first ones are "earth-like" in size and composition but hell-holes over 100Âșc
2 last ones are "earth-like" in size and composition but artic-holes frozen to death
d seems too hot, but livable, especially near the poles
e is the most promising, it might be an earth-twin
f is cool for those who love the north, cool as fuck but livable
thats not how you do it
chek em
"""just""" 40 light years away
All of those are Peruvian
come on...
dubs mode: on
let's try again...
>40 Light Years
Finns can't move like that.
Bad ass

Congrats, but this is how you really do it
Teach me, senpai

Nice, but have you seen these?
>try to get a 4
>get dubs instead
brb deleting my life

>I only have to travel 40 light years to get away from this shithole
based.
no dubs here only singles
kek, didn't realized i was lucky 777
They're orbiting a red dwarf, so they are probably so close they're tidally locked, with a permanent light side and dark side, the area around the fringe of the light side would probably be most temperate
they would be windy as fuck due to all that circulation
What would the convection pattern look like, constant upwelling at the center of the day side, high-altitude flow to the nightside, downdrafts at the center of nightside, and low-altitude flow back to the dayside? would the coriolis effect even come into play? technically they are still rotating, but just enough to match their orbit around their star
>just
How can we break the speed of light? We can make a bastion of the white race out there.
become antiparticles
...
How does one expand and contract space
magnets
Earth like doesn't really mean much when you consider that life on earth is young compared to the overall age of the planet.
Correction "intelligent" life is young compared to the overall age.
Didn't realise some Spanish cunt had already been

We need to start sending messages telling the space niggers we are full so they don't get any ideas
40 lightyears.
So let's say I walk there 5 km per hour. Then I'll be there in.. umm..
>by the time humanity has developed the means to get there we'll all be dead
Speak English
When will we have pics of some nice alien skylines to post on Sup Forums?
To think that all we've ever done as a species, all of our achievements, every country, ever cultures, everyone you've ever hated or loved are confined to this one speck of dust in a sea of billion upon billions of galaxies, stars and planets really makes you think.
stuff like this makes me love NASA
why can't we cut 25-50 billion from the defense budget and give it to NASA?
>tfw doomed to destroy ourselves
fourth times the charm
Those planets don't seem to have day or night cycles. Living there would be nightmare for any type if terrestrial plant.
...
You can't understand that?
>Just 40 Light Years Away
we will never have the technology to do such trip in a human life time.
40 ly sounds little but our current speeds don't come close
Because of the (((Republicans))) and the (((military-industrial complex)))
>666
>there's a solar system out there where the planetary inhabitants likely already know what it's like to visit completely different worlds and a meet truly alien lifeforms because they happen to be only a few months or years away from each other
>they're conducting space trade as we speak and having actual dialogue and blowing each others' minds with how radically different they are from each other
>they're even learning to fuck one another
Calm down Costa Rica, I bet we have better porn.
...
stop depressing me, guy
Daily that reminder that humanity will never leave the solar system.
Stop dreaming faggots and kill yourselves.
if repeating digits, we will meet ayy lmaos in our lifetimes
does this mean i will get a qt alien gf
did you just assume their species
if theyre 40 lightyears away does it mean assuming they have some sort of optic device to observe earth they are seeing 80s earth right now?
>80s were 40 years ago
dumb anime poster
It's 2024, user.
Nah it's 1438
inshallah
The 80's were about 40 years ago.
dumb burger
Every tenth planet is Earth-like, meaning solid shell and atmosphere. Every tenth of those has conditions suitable for life (goldielocks zone and a suitable star). Every tenth of those is supposed to have life and every tenth that has life, has also intelligent life.
The Milkyway alone has 100 billion planets.
