>$10
What do I look like, a prince?
Big ups, f a m
oh mama
>10 bucks is too much for a timeless album
say that next time you go spend it on fast food
Based Dave Mattacks.
Ziggy Stardust
$10 in internet dollars feels a lot different than $10 in real life my man.
nah
i just spent 100 bucks on bandcamp last week and i'm a poorfag. i just don't spend that 100 bucks on other crap i dont need (like fast food, i can cook my own which is cheaper)
anything by timbaland pretty much
The only time I spend money on music is vinyl, and that's because it's physical and you can't get it for free.
i would buy vinyl too if
a: shipping wasn't so expensive to yrop
b: too many records dont come with a download code
bandcamp is a nice substitute.
so your saying you wouldnt buy tapes or cds because you can easily dub your own tapes or cds?
there's nothing wrong with pirating music, you nerd
if anything, it's what everyone should do
>download code
I have a record player that can convert to mp3 and I never use that feature. When I want to listen to that album, I play it on vinyl. If I want to listen to it on it a bus ride of something, I just pirate it. My rational is that pirating is fine if I already bought a way more expensive copy.
If I had the equipment to burn shit onto a CD or a tape then I wouldn't buy CDs or tapes. Plus vinyl is analog and not digital, meaning it's higher quality, plus the record itself and its cover sleeve have value.
Steve Albini is god
>thanks for pirating my music everyone, though sadly i do not have money to buy equipment or food so i'll have to get a real job which leaves no room for music making, it was fun while it lasted
...
>convert to mp3
do you just name them "album side a" or do you edit them track by track? seems like a chore if you do. personally i like having individual tracks so that's why i like download codes
To be honest I never actually used the feature. I still use the same record player my dad gave to me when I was young and knew nothing about audio stuff. It works well so I figure I might as well not replace it.
But it's a Sony, so I imagine they thought a lot about optimization stuff for the whole process.
Also, I already end up editing stuff track-by-track since most torrents I download are always missing something in the tags.
>i pirate music = i don't spend any money on music
bandcamp and download codes are already sorted and tagged correctly, just need to unzip
time is money friend, but im not gonna argue. you do you
why else would you find the need to pirate?
This so much
...
I do whatever's most convenient. If the most convenient way to get music is to buy an album, that's what I do. If its more convenient to download it from a sharethread or blogspot or something, I do that.
good pick
i pirate music since i was 10 years old
if it were impossible, i would probably not have had the necessary stimulus to develop an interest in music in the first place.
pirating music allowed me to listen to music when i had no access to money.
pirating music allowed me to discover music freely.
pirating music allowed me to listen to music from other countries from an early age.
if i couldn't pirate music, i wouldn't spend money on physical copies, concert tickets or merch. i wouldn't make music, i would probably not listen to half or a quarter of the music i do.

Jimmy is one of the most underrated drummers out there
this could not be closer to the objective truth!
you have a way with words, user; have you considered a career in politics?

The drummer for Blink 182 is superb. Everyone else in the band is shite.
No one?
Fucking no one?
THIS ALBUM IS DRUMMING
t. What Burns Never Returns - Don Cabellero
You can't name a better album than this one when it comes to drum sound.
Listen for yourselves: youtube.com
Ew. A Wolf at the Door? That snare is absolute shit.
Not even Albini's best.
Great sound.
75' also sounds great.
I really like how the drums sound on Ty Segall's new s/t album
patrician
Lieber Honig might be the worst thing I've ever heard. The rest of the album is stellar.
Aumgn is fucking terrible as well. The rest of the album is pretty great.
Seriously, the avant garde shit is just, well, shit
Tonto is just the grooviest juggernaut my man
Nowhere's drums are way better
I thought I was the only one.
>those cymbal decays on It Is Not Meant to Be
>mfw
Didn't know he produced this, neat
...
Especially the 40th anniversary edition mix
>Nowhere's drums are way better
I prefer the energy in GBA but you're right for the most part
>2 drummers
they're up to three now
...
poor jeremiah, modest mouse never needed more than one drummer
...
eh, he's certainly the best drummer you could ever want for a pop punk band, but beyond that...
...
...
Lieber Honig isn't a bad song it just creeps me out too much.
god tier
>tfw you liked his solo album
Should I just kill myself now?
>the four notes on If There Is Something where the drummer subtly hits harder
