LotR is literally a sequel to the Hobbit, and the hobbit was 2 movies too long.

Fuark, I couldn't possibly add all the good movies there are, I had to make it limited.
If I had to choose books Lord of the Rings & Hobbit (jesus why did you divide it ? it's the same universe) and if I had to choose films Harry Potter. Lord of the Rings films are very few compared with the books. Despite they are well donde they omit a lot of things. More films would have been good. And the Hobbit has too many films, cmon Peter Jack$on. On the other hand Harry Potter has a decent adaption. It has its flaws yes, but I think its better adapted than TLotR, that are very good films too. I've never read GoT but in my opinion the moment Martin allowed the series to finish after the books spoilered the saga.
About pirates, well, funny to see but thats all, innecesary points in the films like Keith Richards cameo.
