It could have been even bigger if P*cesnored*s didn't exist.

Goes all the way up to Never Let Me Down.................

...........................

the first five can albums

Delete Lodger and Scary Monsters and add Aladdin Sane and Ziggy.

Wrong pic?

radiohead, the bends - tkol

You're probably taking the piss

But I find Let's Dance to be one of his worst albums. A complete sellout record in every aspect that only existed for the singles

...

Poor Bowie, he was nothing without Eno.

That's not a streak...

The Rolling Stones:
Aftermath - Exile on Main St.

They're not connected chronologically dingleheimer

Lodger and Scary Monsters are fantastic and underrated albums

The Yes Album
Fragile
Close to the Edge
Tales from Topographic Oceans
Relayer
Going for the One

>inb4 reddit

I think you're forgetting something.

....actually. Yeah. Keep forgetting it.

Lodger is a pretty weak link here desu senpai.

Autobahn
Radio-Aktivität
Trans Europa Express
Die Mensch-Maschine
Computerwelt

It really isn't though, definitely his most underrated album by far. Listen to it again and thoroughly.

Well yeah. That was the idea for the album.

It's not that bad. It's just a pop album. Yeah he's done more adventurous things in the past and well after, but I don't find anything audibly offensive about it

Black Sabbath
Paranoid
Master of Reality
Vol. 4
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Sabotage

This is the best one.

Can's discography under Damo Suzuki.

All Lights Fucked on the Hairy Amp Drooling
F#A#∞
Slow Riot
Skinny Fists
Yanqui UXO

But Monster Movie is their best album

>all lights

Lmao... wait..... uh.... does it finally exist??

Get fucked Bowie:
>In the Court of the Crimson King
>In the Wake of Poseidon
>Lizard
>Islands
>Larks' Tongues in Aspic
>Starless and Bible Black
>Red
>Discipline

Honestly you could probably add Beat, Three of a Perfect Pair, and Thrak to the streak and have it still make sense

It's just so jarring after him releasing masterpiece after masterpiece, he stopped this insane streak with Let's Dance. An album that was obviously pandering to the mainstream styles of music and audiences of that time period. It sounds dated because of that too. Other than Modern Love, I don't see any appeal in my opinion.

nah you can go farther than this

Monster Movies
Soundtracks
Tago Mago
Ege Bamyasi
Future Days
Soon Over Babaluma

Delay too if that counts. i'd also say Landed is pretty good ,albeit not on the same tier

Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Black Star...
Can't tell if you're kidding

Help! to White Album

Is Young Americans a disliked album? I really like it, but I'm not sure on the general consensus on it. If its liked you could add Diamond Dogs and Young Americans too.

Fuck Pin-ups though.

I like it, but it's not really a rock album.

I know you can kinda say that about STS, but that has rock elements, or is more rock orientated than Young Americans

This.

15 year or 8 albums.

Girls can tell
Kill the moonlight
Gimme fiction
Ga ga ga ga ga
Transference
They want my soul

Good point.

Only the first 3 are good

First album is pretty bad but yeah the rest are excellent

How the fuck is Greetings bad, you turbofaggot?

Which album would u say is the Stones' best

huh wow

Creedence Clearwater Revival(1968)
Bayou Country(1969)
Green River(1969)
Willy and the Poor Boys(1969)
Cosmo's Factory(1970)
Pendulum(1970)
All of those in the span of just 2 years.

How does Bowie look SO good?

yep

Cocaine addiction and androgynous features

Seventeen Seconds (1980)
Faith (1981)
Pornography (1982)
The Top (1984)
The Head on the Door (1985)

1997 Boatman's Call
2001 No More Shall We Part.

Are the Bad Seeds the GOAT?

that band is soooooo british

how are they from texas

First 6 Zeppelin albums

Stop with the shitty Pin-ups meme, it's a decent covers album. He did exactly what he wanted to do.

Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
Animals
The Wall

literal meme band

>2 years
>3 years

The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
Amnesiac
Hail to the Thief
In rainbows
The King of Limbs
A Moon Shaped Pool

get thommed fgt

damn

AMSP is worse than PH tho

good one

Butthole Surfers' until Electriclarryland

he didn't contribute to heroes and low as much as people think.

see

>not really a rock album

and your point is?

>name a better streak in rock music

two of the albums up there are half ambient

>The Who Sell Out
>Tommy
>Live At Leeds
>Who's Next
>Quadrophenia

Young Americans is still a rock album, just with funk/soul elements to it. It's not straight up soul.

Face to Face
Something Else By The Kinks
Village Green Preservation Society
Arthur
Lola vs The Powerman and The Moneygoround

Nice

Iron Maiden had a pretty much flawless run from their debut through Seventh Son

It started before YFMT, my son

Fly by Night
Caress of Steel
2112
A Farewell to Kings
Hemispheres
Permanent Waves
Moving Pictures

Muswell Hillbillies is good too, even though it's not baroque pop/art rock.

Iron Maidens last good album was Powerslave. Also
DiAnno>Bruce

But Caress of Steel is awful.

ironic i hope. else end yourself.

It's true. Killers is far and away their best work. Bruce's voice annoys me. Straining vox warbling ever so slightly off key isn't my thing. Besides, Thom Yorke does it better.

...

Coheed and Cambria

right band
wrong albums

Eh maybe, it's a guilty pleasure for me, particularly the necromancer

Fly by Night isn't all that great either. 2112 to Moving Pictures is fantastic though.

Replace the Wall with Meddle and you have it.

You could even add Atom Heart Mother before it and it'd still be a great streak

Days of Future Passed
In Search of the Lost Chord
On the Threshold of a Dream
To Our Childrens Childrens Children
A Question of Balance
Every Good Boy Deserves Favour
Seventh Sojourn

Agreed. I like the Wall, but it's too uneven and bloated to be a great record.

Yeah it's really just cause of Anthem, In the End, Bytor, the Necromancer and lakeside park now that I think about it

Filth
Cop
Greed
Holy Money
Public Castration

Stand Up
Benefit
Aqualung
Thick as a Brick
A Passion Play
War Child
Minstrel in the Gallery
Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll; Too Young to Die!
Songs from the Wood
Heavy Horses
Stormwatch
A
The Broadsword and the Beast

Anthem, By-Tor, In the End and Lakeside Park are all better on the live album than they are on the studio albums anyway.

>Black Sabbath
>Paranoid
>Master of Reality
>Vol. 4
>Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
>Sabotage
>Technical Ecstasy
>Never Say Die
>Heaven and Hell
>Mob Rules
>Born Again

You should have stopped after a Passion Play

>technical ecstasy

>Back Street Kids
>You Won't Change Me
>Gypsy
>All Moving Parts Stand Still
>Dirty Women
>bad

Yup. That's exactly what I'm saying.

Bowie really did have an amazing streak of objectively great albums.
But in the 80's he sold out and his music became plebe bait, i dont think his fans even listen to never let me down.
Personally i think bowies worst album is hours.
Never let me down is actually saved by the title track, it actually is very john lennon like song.

youtube.com/watch?v=qQ9GIljnGmk

I also think tonight is a good album, not great, its pretty laid back and if you are in the mood for some 80's sounding stuff

youtube.com/watch?v=IJLkjjtUb10

It's not surprising, the 80s in general, were a shit decade for music.

I dont hate 80's sounding music, its just agreed bowies was the least experimental during the 80's and was topping the charts and doing pepsi commercials with tina turner.

Bowies discography is really great but there are a few shit albums that are mostly forgettable except a few songs.

He did get his groove back in the 90's and 2000's

>Rubber Soul
>Revolver
>Sgt. Pepper

I like Panteras streak, Cowboys to the last album

This, although I would add the first albums too, I honestly think they are underrated
