Remember to use clyp.it to post your tracks/WIP: posting a clyp.it is just providing sound for a question, posting a Soundcloud link is making self-advertisement and the thread doesn't need that.

So my goal is to make money on the side by making trap shit and selling it to children.

How close am I to that level?

What is your VST preference to make ambient synth? Is Ableton's Operator good enough or do you guys have better option?

10/10, revolutionizes electronic music by having Stravinsky-esque polyrhythms.

That depends, got a reference?

U-He Diva

Sytrus on FL

>What's the best XLR
xlr is the connector type, not the mic type

I meant, what'sthe best microphone between these two

I love Synthmaster 2.8 for just about everything.

I am actually approaching of flatsound's kind of synth.

Styrus has potential but there is a fuckton to learn lmao
I guess I'll try to revisit it.

clyp.it/rmma2xgb

should i quit now?

No, I'm liking the ideas you have. You'll get better at mixing and making the instruments blend together with time and practice.

also first dibs on the blowjob

Not that it sounded bad or anything. Just saying it's something you can constantly be improving at.

What do you guys think of my dumbed down rip off of the funeral march for trumpets ?
I'm a complete noob to this btw.

clyp.it/vfcey3la

If you ever find yourself asking this question seriously, then quit.
Now onto the clyp, it's not bad, it's just extremely generic and sounds really flat. With hard work you'll get there.

Sounds badly mixed but it's fine if you're new, you'll get better at it.

anyone have any recommendations for a midi controller for FL12? I'm constantly reading on forums that programming controllers for FL is a bitch. I'd like to get an Akai mpk2 or a Novation SL.

I have AT2020, it's great, therefore AT2035 should be very good too
