lol, really nigga?

Koeniggsegg will hit the wall before anything. 1000hp/ton, bish.

are you saying a nigger would win?

light moves approximately 3M km per second faggot

the speed of light is a constant, the speed of the source cant change that.

This, basically

but won't the car light hit the wall faster bc it is closer to the w-- wait. I'm a fucking idiot.

300,000 km/s

This. The car's light would be blueshifted in comparison to the flashlight though.

Lorentz transformation etc...

Exactly

Idiot, OP stated that the flashlight is 100x brighter. That means it would be faster as well.

Shut the fuck up if you think you can troll with that weak ass shit.

>The car's light would be blueshifted in comparison to the flashlight though.

This. They hit the wall at the same time, but the light of the car will be slightly shorter wavelength.

When the source of light is moving the light wavelength is increased or decreased depending on the velocity towards or away from the observer.

Same reason why a race car mooving tawrds you has a higher pitch (blue shift) when moving towrds you and a lower pitch (red shift) when moving away from you. The sound is still traveling at the speed of sound, the wavelength changes.

Even at low speeds it is noticeable with sound.

very smart. i'm fcking old whore 2 times a day, gonna get neetbux then get drunk, shitpost on Sup Forums and then sleep. hello, i brian.

This is such low quality bait that I'm not even gonna bother posting the fish hook bait pic.

Astrophysicsfag here. Can confirm.

>Gr8 b8 m9

fucking underrated

Astrophysicsfag here again. It's called the Doppler effect. Works with emergency vehicle sirens best. Pitch is increased as the vehicle moves toward you because the sound waves are compressed. It's decreased as it's moving away from you because the waves are not being compressed in that direction.

tits or gtfo

Say if you had the same setup car, wall, but the person w the flashlight wasn't there. Instead you want to see what light will hit the wall between the car right in front of it, or the light from an atomic bomb going off 1000 miles away?

Which would hit the wall first?

If you still say they'd be the same, whats if we took it further and said the second light source was an exploding star a few galaxies away? Which would hit first?

what.

actually the time-space continuum will seperate in this scenario into 2 defferent timelines, because light cannnot go faster than lighspeed.

due to this degeneration of light, shit gets complex here. remember to keep all POVS and time in your mind at the same time , when thinking deeply about this :D

Well the car's light would first because while the speed of light is universal ( c = 299,792,458 m/s in a vacuum, slightly slower through a medium like air ) light still takes time to travel. So while the amount of time it takes for the bomb's light to reach is going to be nearly the same as the car's (1000 miles is tiny compared to cosmological scale), the car's will still reach it faster. The second example is much different, though. Something a few galaxies away would mean that the light would take millions of years to reach the wall. The Andromeda Galaxy is roughly 2.3 million light years away, so we're seeing the Andromeda galaxy as it was 2.3 million years ago. Cosmological scale is mind-bogglingly massive.
