But fine. Yeah, actually Sweden have a lot of migrants, those migrants are poor and disproportionately criminal, but it's not as bad as memes say, there are no sharia zones and the amount of rapes has actually slightly decreased despite a big recent intake of more migrants.

I live in Malmö, the city with the biggest slice of the immigrant pie.
There are problems for sure, since most immigrants leave most belongings behind they come here poor, so the real issue is a big influx of poor people, which also lead to more criminality of course.

The biggest issue is that Swedish culture frowns upon taking place, being loud and the famous picture of swedish teenagers standing three meters from each other waiting for the bus is very true.
This is not at all the case for anyone from the middle-east, so they tend to break all the unwritten rules before they learn, widening the gap in our society.
The real issue is this gap, while many succesfully blend in society, some are left behind with this gap, going their own way, and it's these people causing issues. They will never stop being poor and will often make shitty decisions and they can frankly go fuck themselves.
It's a pretty shitty situation, but not anywhere close the what the memes claim.
Even though we're few in numbers, I feel as though we should try to help real people getting their lives completely destroyed by asshole sand-monkeys with fucked up agendas, waging wars and causing misery in the middle-east, and if that means taking on more immigrants, so be it.

Malmö, murder capital of Sweden, has a murder rate of 3.4 per 100,000 population. Murder capital of the US is St Louis with a rate of 52 per 100,000. General murder rate of the US is 3.9 with Sweden's at 1.9 which is still in line with the rest of western Europe.

Starting in the 1950's and 60's it was portrayed as being extremly sexually liberal, a myth that still persists to this day. This was simply due to the Swedish film industry and how Hollywood at the time was disproportionately puritan by comparison (actors playing married couples couldn't even be shown sleeping in the same bed), whereas Swedish films were closer to what you'd find on more modern TV shows. In the 60's there was an Italian exploitation documentary on Sweden which further solidified the myth.
More recently it has been subject to severe confirmation biases from both ends of the political spectrum. Apart from the immigration angle, you also have the"Wow, Sweden is a utopia!" media narrative, like just a few months ago there was a news story making the rounds about Sweden not having enough trash to recycle and burn for energy so they had to resort to importing trash. Which is of course not entirely true (and in fact there was a very recent scandal uncovered regarding this subject and very little of the plastic being reused).
These are all parts of different pre-conceived media narratives surrounding Sweden, and reporters will constantly spin whatever stories they can find to more neatly fit into those narratives when they find that reality itself doesn't quite align with the image in their heads. The only one that actually seems close to the truth is probably the amount of influence Sweden carries in the US pop music industry.
