For Bruce

For Bruce.

Sweet.

I don't know who that is.

Unless you mean Bruce Wayne, but Batman is over-rated.

Literally right there. And when you said I wasn't worth replying to or whatever because I'm moving goal posts, which I was not doing. You just fell back on outright dismissal instead of addressing the counter that I presented.

It literally is. You can look through this thread and the previous one. I was minding my own business, talking idly to a couple of people, when others decided what I was doing wasn't right and decided to insult me. I guess now it would be the previous two threads and not this actual thread.

He's not even a super hero but he hangs out with them. Overrated.

(maybe if we ignore it, it'll stop shitposting)

Darkman is the best superhero.

...

The only good Batman thing in years was Batman: Brave and the Bold, and that's because the creator's had a love for Silver Age comics.

Haven't read anything so...
But I'll take your word.

What do you think of the Superman animated series from the 90s?
I recently started rewatching it and I think it's pretty bitchin'

What about that Batman Ben Affleck played? He was not the worst, right? I don't know anything about Batman, but the philosophy in that movie was fun.

The Arkham games are pretty good

Nooooooooope.

...

*cough*

The Shadow is also great. I literally don't know anything about any other superheros beyond basic shit.

...

It was a TV series.

The Superman series was excellent. Most of the DC animated universe shows are good, with some exceptions. Zeta Project was a waste, Static Shock was amusing in the 90's after-school way, especially the episode where they deal with racism. Batman Beyond was okay, suffered from a weak rogue's gallery, but was brutal at times.

Good games, not for narrative, though.

how's everyone's night? christmas is coming soo, any plans?

Is that you, Vennie?

I close on Christmas day. Only 4 hours, and get paid extra, so its ok.

It's never safe.

Oh God I had forgotten static shock. I think that was for the better though.
Batman Beyond was pretty good, really all over the board in terms of episodes tho. Some were grim, dire and awesome, while others were downright stupid. A real mixbag.
Going over to relatives as usual. Bought myself some dope gifts to put other peoples names on though, so that's always fun.

forgot a picture

Willis?
Lee?

Vidya games.

I might have that day off. So I might crash over. Maybe Eve too.

For Bruce

Kill yourself fucking cancer

basically

the only cancer is shitposters that bump threads they hate.

You mean me?

That bi-polar approach to tone was really what kept it from really shining, especially since it could be found even within the same episode. Like the one where the artificial AI takes over the Batsuit; you have a pretty standard "bad guy finds out who it Batman" like plot, only to end with watching the villain regress in its mental growth through childhood and infancy before it is killed.

Hunnibuns!

...

I don't remember that one, but damn that's brutal.

Homo!!

Come touch my hairless butt before it grows back tomorrow!

Fucking again?

I work 2 to 8 tomorrow. I have Christmas Eve off. I don't know my schedule for next week, its a mess at work right now.

Couldn't find a clip of the ending, but it was the episode Lost Soul.

Total deadsville.

I must sleep now. Goodnight.

Faggots make everything bad :(

Either I'm the driving force behind these late night threads or you all don't have any reason to post if you're not attacking me. Either way, I post, the thread stays active, I don't post, the thread dies.

...

It's neat knowing I'm so god damned entertaining to you people. Also, great plan there, if you ignore me, I'll go away. No, I'll stay, what'll happen is that the thread will just die slowly.

And now, this.

Let them keep blowing rad in fog killing Far Harbor peeps

Hummmmmm

(This pic is the Rodolf I grew up knowing. Kinda nice porn over.)

It's feels so good to know that there is a person out there that actually loves you. That knows all your faults and loves you regardless.

Legitimately, not a damn thing any of you can say could even scratch me because of that.

My Garfield/Matrix illustration disappeared.

Tom is the name of this comic and the name of this comic is Tom.

These were drawn so strangely. The first four were drawn in one day, the next couple were drawn a few days later. Then it became super sporadic with one or two panels being drawn every month or so.

I started this in early 2014 and just drew, the 30th or so panel a couple months back.

Huge gas of time. The styliization of the story really fucks with me and makes it difficult to write.

I've written maybe 50 some odd potential panels, but had to scrap and/or condense most of them because they were too lengthy.

Nothing more than a sentence. If if can't be said in more than a sentence I can't include it in the story.

Otherwise the pacing gets all fucked up.

And that's really why this comic works. It's pacing fits it.

If the pacing changes then the story will have to change as well also too and.

A lot of my comics rely on the pacing to work.

The Glenn Gary Glenngarf cartoon was originally a six+ panel comic that didn't work very well as a comic itself since I couldn't find a way to have the comic paced in such a way as to deliver the punchline.

Then I realized the punchline was the joke and the rest of the comic was superfluous.

And then it became just the one panel, which works great as a single panel. All you need is given in just that one image.

Poor Tom. Will he ever find happiness? Probably not. I don't know how it's going to end, I'm thinking a prolonged fight with a terminal illness that he loses.

Or his wife gets breast cancer and he ends up a widower living his shitty meaningless life devoid of loved ones because his kids resent him.

I'm not sure on any of what isn't written/drawn.

I do know that it will have an ending though. It's not just going to go on forever.

There's also Phil, who has a comic.

His is a bit wackier.

His boss is Chinese, his son is retarded, and his math teacher in middle school had only one arm.

for bruce

?

Phil is affluent, but still severely emotionally damaged.

Always a good time with Tom and Phil.

THERE WILL BE NO CROSSOVER.

I drew an entire large page of side story panels for Tom once.

is that a badger or is that a racoon or is that a mongoose

It was something like 13 panels of side story, but I threw it in the garbage because it didn't pertain to the actual story.

It was just for me, not for others.

I got my kicks from it and then threw it out.
