He was a great man, capable of great good and bad. He helped rebuild Germany during a great depression and helped Germans by giving them new jobs with an astonishing decline in unemployment. Not only that, he saved Germans from being slaughtered in Poland. Of course, victors twist the history and all we hear is the great crimes he committed - which were no doubt terrible. But even this had a reason; since the Jewish people, a small percentage of Germans, quickly took over the economy and brought Germans further poverty. Of course this does not by any means make what he did right, but this is a reason I certainly don't remember hearing in school.
