There aren't really any bad terms, but I greatly dislike spending time with them, it always boils down to my uncle being an ass, me getting angry and needing to do all the cleaning up after meals because they're all self centered ingrates. The only reason I still go is because I like my grandparents

I think that at holiday times, people act much more fake than usual. Spreading "holiday cheer".
Fake people spreading fake cheer to other fake people seems pointless and stupid to me.
Then there's gift giving, which I can't do because I have no money, no job and live at home. But people get me things, which just reminds me that I contribute nothing and am just a sponge.
And then, there's the required family visit, which I just straight up hate at any time of year

Well, as I said. I do live with my parents, so when they go to visit my family(It's out of town), I am required to go with them. I could probably fight my way out of it, but I want to see my grandparents for what little time there is left.
Once that's no longer a barrier, I'll never be going back though
