sorry no idea

Got a path. I'll work it out

...

thanks

I am able to get some angles.
But I have not a clue what I should do to get a,b, y or x...

30 degrees. 50 + 60 = 110. 180-110 = 70. The triangle with x turns out to be 70 + y + x = 180. Once you find y you can officially find x. But if you look really x looks to be about thirty degrees since y looks to be around 80 degrees. Also that top angle of the big triangle is 20 degrees

...

Similar triangles

But how do you know they're similar? Like, mathematically

???

Don't quote me on this as I'm not 100% sure. The triangle that x is in is an isosceles I think which would mean that the two bottom sides are the same, each triangle adds up to 180 degrees. I've added as much in case I've done something wrong.

God told me

x = 30 degrees

honestly you retards couldn't solve this?

>But if you look really x looks to be about thirty degrees

Maths nigger

any value of 0 < x < 110 work.

try it.

Hm...
You are just assuming that it is a isosceles triangle

This is what I thought too.
But this only applies when there are no intersections between the inner straight lines

with various triangle you can establish these 6 equation :

180=y+(x+40)+30
180=x+(50+y)+20

180=x+y+70
180=20+z+t

180=50+y+z
180=x+40+t
Unfortunately these 6 equation aren't independant and when you work on them they can be reduced to these :

x+y=110
z+t=160
y+z=130
x+t=140

and

these equation aren't even independant, and can be reduced to this :

180=y+(x+40)+30
180=x+(50+y)+20

180=x+y+70
180=20+z+t

180=50+y+z
180=x+40+t

y=110-x
z=x+20
t=140-x

Any x € ]0 ; 110 [ is a solution

try x = 10 y = 100 z = 30 t = 130 you'll see it's also a solution

...

All triangles' angles add up to 180 degrees. You can get the third angle in the bottom most triangle this way: 180 - 60 - 50 = 70 degrees. This gives you the bottom most angle of the triangle containing x, as angles that are back to back and stem from the same vertex are equal.

We can get y, the other angle in x's triangle, by using the fact that we know the bottom angles -- 20 and 60 and 50 and 30. 180 - (80*2) = 20 degrees at the tip of the isosceles.

You can then do 180 - 30 - 20 = 130, or 130 at our y point. Now you know that the 30-tip-y triangle is a 130-20-30 triangle.

We can finish it off with 180 - 30 - 70 (bottom most angle of the x triangle) to get x = 80 degrees.

Easy

winrar

you fucks getting 110 are autists. look at the triangle, x is acute

Good evening my young friend

From your figure only two equations matters :

30 + 40+x + y = 180
20 + x +y + 50 = 180

The rest should be obvious

You forgot one.
>Any x € ]0 ; 110 [ is a solution
Graphically, x is clearly not greater than 90, which contradicts your claim

Then I will get 0=0 ....

Ha

You realize that you just wrote twice "x+y+70=180" and the only obvious thing is your retardation ?

He's special. let him be

Congrats, you're autistic.

You still missed one

Forgot one.

...

Is there really no one who can give me a solution?

first post i put in this one is right

thinkzone.wlonk.com/MathFun/Triangle.htm

then how about you just print the whole thing and mesure x with a protractor to mesure it and let adult do math ?

>mesure it and let adult do math ?

Math is worthless if you have no idea what you're doing. Failing to notice the obvious shows you're just wasting your time.

Gay

Lol
Quote from this website:
>> Sorry, but I'm not giving the answer nor the proof here. You will just have to work on it until you either solve it or are driven insane.

ok guys, I have figured out this much:

b + x = 140
x + y =110
a + y =130

I know this because the red area is equal to 360

Gay and ez

You assumed that the middle triangle is isosceles!!! But we have no proof that it actually is!!!!

Illustration is pretty retarded, they could have at lease made it to scale.

But that's wrong you dingdong

it does give some good hints...

It´s say that you will have to add extra lines.
If this is true, then it´s way harder...

The biggest traingle was Isosceles yet it was not given so i am save to assume the small one is

How about you actaully learn math and not be retarded?

bait

how about this:
Langley's Adventitious Angles

Wrong! It´s has the same base angles, so it is isosceles!

or how about this:
youtube.com/watch?v=HQc-54hQ8kw

X = 80

x = 30 works

Ye thats what i said dude

Retards. It has one single sign of congruent angles

not only does it work, it's the only angle that works.

Because, if you ever paid attention in class, diagrams aren't necessarily drawn to scale. Never assume lines are parallel or angles are similar unless expressly noted.

Thanks guys!

Ez

We already have the right answer:

Seriously guys... are you blind? There is no way X = 80, just look at the picture

Is it like X is almost a right angle to you?

...

Geometry thats why. Remember doing proofs in school?

80+80+40 =180 now?

The angle at the top is 20.

Its the same equation. It should be obvious

lol, fuck, there goes the 20 that goes to the 60 in the x triangle. Making x=180-80-70
x=30
