all of us who have been here a while definitely have rose colored glasses on, thats important to consider.

speaking generally, I feel that the incredible spontaneity and creativity that we experienced in the micro and macro communities of Sup Forums back when i first got on are almost nowhere to be found now. There are still moments of greatness but the idea of an anonymous, creative community was something alive and real for a good run. Now honestly i mostly just keep coming back for the porn, something thats not the consumer-driven advertisement-impregnated clusterfuck of mainstream porn sites.

I first got on back in the days of this guy (pic). That was when I first started high school, a month or two in, the year was 2008. Incredible to think 8 years have gone by, and I'm sure its been many more for others here.

all in all Sup Forums's had a good run, a shame to see extreme right ideologies prevailing in what was once an amazingly diverse political and social atmosphere,(when i, as a 'jewfag' was able to crack up and help other Sup Forumstards make swastika formations on club penguin). It's really not that horrible. It has a decent interface, plenty of boards similar to our own, and I'd say the worst thing is that you can't add pics easily to your posts. Often times they use imgur and put a link in their post.
