Hello Sup Forumsrothers

I know that Sup Forums is used for joking and trolling however I have been here since 2006 and for the first time ever I am starting thread based on something in my life that is actually happening. Now on to the topic of the thread I need some wisdom on how I should proceed with my life, I have been offered investment banking jobs from several firms because apparently I am a "talented investor" however I don't think I'm that talented as investing is easy to make money from now the reason I'm asking for your wisdom/advice is because my goal in life for years has been to become a professional gamer in dota 2 (my mmr is 6400 BTW) or csgo (I'm in FPL on faceit) I need help deciding as this is the biggest decision of my life. And all my online friends say I should go for pro gaming as they are my teammates in my current semi pro team but all my irl friends say the investment banking job as I will most likely earn more from it (of course my parents are pushing me to go for the investment job) and I'm my hour of need I turned to the one place that has supported me through the good and the bad and didn't care if I was wanking to sadistic porn or pretending to be a triggered feminist. So I ask you from the bottom of my heart please help me decide

Yours Richard (fuck it I'm saying my real name)

Thank you

Too long, didn't read.

Tell someone who actually gives a fuck user. Someone who actually knows or cares who are. Nobody on Sup Forums gives a fuck. Literally no one.

Greentext and I would've gave a fuck

Well everyone who gives a fuck is bias in some way that's why I would like an ons to help me

Go for the investment job user

You could, in all reality take up the banking and investing jobs and see where that takes you. There's pretty good money to be made in those kinds of jobs, and even very successful careers as well. If you don't feel that banking is all it's cracked up to be for you, then quit once you've made some decent money for yourself. At that point, you can be able to finance your gaming wants without any parental aid. I do hope that this advice is somewhat helpful to you and that whatever route you take, that you'll be happy in the end.

Really can't help you with that Richard. Suggest you go to /adv/ for anything serious

The Banking industry will be good for you, user/Richard. There will ALWAYS be time to game after working, and don't throw away a good profession (that your talented as, nonetheless) for a quite rare possibility of making it big in Dota 2 or CS:GO. Stick with your job.

Merry christmas from me....Enjoy the leak and check out this shit lol - snap leak . c f

What the fuck is that in the background

do the investment job. You'll make more in the end, and then if you really want, you can just own a CS:GO or dota 2 esports team, and have all of your friends on it with you. Granted you won't be playing, but you can have the joy of being in the industry.

GL in whatever you do.

Drop the gaming bullshit. That's gonna be fun for a couple years. The investment gig will set you up for life. Don't let kiddy shit screw you out of a solid future.

I'd go for the job dude, stability>stupidity.

Go for the gaming option.
It's less likely to work and is less likely to make you as much money, but if you take the investment option you'll spend everyday wishing you'd tried to do what you really love.

>tfw 30 rolls around and you've run out of options to do what you *really* love
>tfw you couldve had it all but you just wanted to play dota

Dota is dying, CSGO is dying. Valve has only become better at squeezing oit money from the playerbase to support bigger TIs. 6k mmr is good but you also gotta find a team, which is difficult.

Nice dubs.

Spam

I'd say go for Pro in CS:GO. I've played both Dota 2 and CS:GO for years and I'd say going to pro in CS:GO is probably easier.
>start a twitch stream with a facecam (Makes your stream more rememorable)
>get some kind of personality
>play a shit ton of FPL
>get pros to notice you
>dedicate your next few months to grinding the fuck out of CS:GO
Eventually you'll either get a pro team to notice you or you'll get big on twitch, whichever happens first will cause the other.

Congratulations, now you're making a shit ton of money from Twitch streaming and you're on a pro CS:GO team. Now after you retire your pro scene, you can stream until you die. You're welcome.

You know pasha? he started from 0 like you, he had no one who would say him that he do good thing, parents of his wife allways told him to get real job, now he is one of best cs go players and he earn a lot of money

This.

Don't worry, user, lots of us have reading comp above the level of a distracted kitten.

I'd go with banking until you build up a good nest egg. Keep those hand-eye coordination skills sharp in your free time, though. It's an online hobby, so I don't see why practice would be restricted based on your location.

A loft apartment with a fridge and a small white dog.

Is it possible for you to do both? If you can't then go with the banking job

Also, is 6400 good?
