Any Sup Forumstard ever worked in the military, law enforcement or fire service?
Seems like it doesn't get any more alpha than these three careers, but how difficult is it really?

Spent two years of college training to be a police officer. Overall it's not difficult but moments like high risk traffic stops are incredibly intense and you'll feel like your heart is pounding out of your chest.

I was infantry. Felt alpha as fuck. Thought about it. Realized that I was expendable cannon fodder risking my life for scraps, for the benefit of businessmen and politicians

Realized its beta to do this. Left

I think firefighters are the only heroes

So you did some training but opted not to follow the career?

Yea those are the jobs everyone calls heroic even though people just do it for the pay check like any other job. Contruction workers/ fisheries workers and the like perform far more dangerous tasks but they're considered ignorant chumps who catcall bitches

I think construction workers are pretty based tbh

Exceptions would include combat roles during wartime for the military and people who choose to be cops in shitholes like chicago or baltimore but I'm sick of hearing that some kid who joins the marines out of highscool, gets paid to work out in the gym with his bros for 4 years in California and goes along his way are heroes

Is undercover police work still a thing? I remember in the 90s there were all these sting operations on drug cartels etc but they don't seem as common now

They're still common in the UK. Worked for the met police, then moved on to SOCA (now called NCA), Pic related is me standing next to Mark Lilley. I was on the team that framed him in Spain.

But all marines are combat role aren't they? I mean enlisting automatically means you're at risk of being deployed to combat

currently enlisted as an active duty Marine, the training is hard depending on ho physically fit you are, but once you hit the fleet its like a regular 9-5 job. except its more like 730 to 430. plus you get yelled at a lot, and are basically a janitor whenever you're a boot. unless we're at war, its really not that bad.

I served 8 years in the military as a medical technician

shit was cash

Seen lots of gore?

sure at risk but everyone who signs up for selective service (which is every male over 18) is "at risk" for being deployed to combat. But every time a kid so much as finishes basic training their friends and family call them a "hero" and it pisses me off

THIS, SO MUCH THIS.

>Military is beta as fuck/ultimate bluepill.
>Criminal Justice field is filled with beta fags with chips on their shoulders.
>Firefighters are mostly cool dudes who doesn't afraid of anything.

ooga booga i like to shoot guns and punch faces and drive war tanks ooga booga

...

Currently in the Swedish army as a ranger (Bergsjägarpluton- AJB/K4. - Mountain Leader Platoon) in Arvidsjaur.
Served in Afghanistan. Fucking shitstorm.
Here in Sweden joining the army means you need top grades, and severe training. Especially for the ranger companies. Being located in the arctic circle the weather was the worst during training.
Do I feel alpha? Sometimes. But mostly I just feel tired.
"Flykt, överlevnad, motstånd" Escape, survival, resistance. Our motto.

About what you would expect, shredded/missing limbs, bullet/shrapnel wounds

A lot of my time in the military was spent providing humanitarian aid, treating injuries in places like Haiti and Malasia after hurricanes and earthquakes and various other natural disasters

All police should an hero

Welfare queen, statist lackey, and actual alpha.

But then you'd be raped and murdered

Kidnap any kids while you were over there?

Spent two tours in artillery and shit was cash.

I decided that now wasn't the best time to get into criminal justice. I didn't want to end up catching fire from an entire country in the event that I had to make a hard choice and take a life. Nearly everyone in my class made the same decision. I was a year into training when the Ferguson event happened and everyone started targeting cops.

>muh slippery slope
Cops don't actually do shit for protecting normal people. I've never needed a cop. I'd probably be okay with dying before considering needing a cop.

4 years in the Army. I joined because I was a direction 18 year old. Enjoyed it. Got to blow shit up and it made me stop being such a timid recluse. The best part is coming to Sup Forums pissing off these fucktards shouting "WELFARE QUEEN" at me like I give a fuck.

That's a badass unit. You do recon missions too?
How did you prepare for training were you into fitness and sports before joining?

>firefighters are the only heroes
ff are lazy af. they sit around and eat and probably work 4 or 5 weeks out of the year actually doing shit

no.......

Most locals in those places are pretty cool tbh, I got to see what was left of whatever part of the world I was working in following the afforementioned natural disasters, took in the local culture sampled the cuisine, put together field hospitals, stitiched up cuts set broken limbs handed out shit tons of painkillers and antibiotics, the usual

2x4s and fish aren't trying to kill them idiot, whereas bullets, fires, and niggers are actively trying to delete you

5 years in the Marines, pays shit, the country sucks, and everyone is more or less retarded. But you get free food at the USO in airports

This
I have guns. I don't need cops. All they've done for me is give me speeding tickets and issuing a warrant for me for putting trash in a dumpster. Cops suck ass and are useless af

Spent 4 years in military then transfered to local police.

I had people thank me for my service regularly when wearing green but switching to a blue uniform brings alot of hate. I joined for a better paying job, not to power trip or get revenge for being picked on I high school etc. I deal with everyone at their worst and they direct their anger at me. The fun is wearing off and I've lost sight of wanting to help people.

Fire fighters are paid well and have lots of down time. I see them playing volleyball in the station all the time. Definitely a better choice for a long term career.

damn sucks to have an emergency during all those other weeks they don't work.

God do you jackasses have to pretend to be edgy ALL THE FUCKING TIME? Give it a rest would ya.

So from your experience working in the police is more stressful than military?

Police guy from earlier here. It's still pretty common. A PD will track a drug dealer for months and have undercover officers buy from them multiple times.

I'm a firefighter for LA. 23 years old Latino. Best god damn job there is. The money, the benefits, the unlimited pussy.

Kek. This. It all depends thought if you are assigned on a truck, engine or rescue. Rescues obviously get busy. The rest of us just are hanging out or doing drills or cleaning.

>claims military is wellfare queen while simultaneously collecting government gibsmedat NEET bux

Have you done that type of job too?

Ready to kill sandniggers in the next world war?

He's kinda got a point. Plus they automatically get their asses kissed for being over privileged masons and templars. Fuck em!

not anymore. muslims set fire to cars, schools, trash bins, apartament buildings and everything else. then they throw rocks and shoot at the fire fighters when they try to put out the fire. in many european cities the fire fighters and ambulances wont even enter ghettos without armed police escorts.

...

heights, extreme temperatures, heavy machinery, and hazmats are, almost every day. Military/police/firemen find themselves in actual danger only occasionally you autistic nigger

...

We do recon yes, usually in mountain areas.
That's what we did over in the sandpit, there were weapons shipments crossing over the mountains into enemy hands.
And yes I was/is into sports. Always loved the more extreme stuff like black hill skiing, snowboarding and other extreme sports in cold weather. Also love mountain climbing.
So when I joined the ranks it was a pretty clear cut match to join the rangers.

>the equivalent of a "no u" with no actual counter argument.
Stay classy welfare queen.

Leaking my way to 2017...try this out on any girl in your school lol snap-leak-cf

I'll do what's needed if it comes to that.
Sweden these days feels like a damn warzone already..

I assume those recon jobs are the most dangerous because you go in small teams right?

>apartament buildings

MAMMA MIA

>tfw you realize that the jews are actually being targeted by the NWO and aren't the main driving force
Apologize.

...

Please do.

You end up protecting a bunch of pieces of shit that don't give a fuck about you.

You're welcome

Because is uneducated fucks don't make the DOD's budget and if the money and benefits are already there for the taking, why wouldn't I get better benefits and free college without filing for food stamps or bankruptcy first you whiny little shit.

So edgy

firefighter here. Ask me anything.

not reading the 88 reply's. My Q&A starts here.

Is this your platoon?
This is some awesome shit mane, got some interesting stories?

>implying war isn't the main reason for technological advancement

I trained for scenarios in which I would but never did any undercover work myself. My instructor however, had done tons of undercover work. It's pretty intense, you often have to do things like take hard drugs to convince dealers that you aren't a cop.

How difficult was the training? Do lots of people drop out or not make it?
You ever had to put out fires in the ghetto?

>not reading the 88 reply's. My Q&A starts here.
Which lives up to the stereotype that firefighters are lazy.

...

FTA

That's insane. You know anyone who had his cover blown?

>wew lad the post

>doesn't afraid of anything
nice grammar faggot, looks like sommer is here to stay forever

That shit looks like a burnt steak

Small team, minimum gear, observe and gather intelligence. Most of the time you sit "safe" doing nothing. No contact.
But shit hits the fan quickly. That's when you which you had that Ksp 90 you hated so much to carry during training...
But yeah recons are dangerous.

Spent two years as a firefighter, currently a cop in one of America's more violent cities. Going into a burning building and working undercover are two of the most terrifying things I've ever done.

Firefighter fag here as well.
What dept you work for?

youtube the CPAT Test. thats the minimum to get hired.

The training is 400 hours. Some places do it all in 18 weeks. Others will let you take a year to get it.

Most fires and emergencies are in poor peoples homes.

:D

minimum gear as in a handgun only?

Eh, military and fire are a mixture of alphas and betas. Police are typically all weak betas looking for quick authority. My uncle is captain of sizeable local police department and brother is in the army. Also, bro and I were volunteer firefighters, so I've seen it all.

Can you elaborate on your undercover work?

apart from firemen the other two are establishment protection pawns and cannon fodder.

really? I think the first 15 minutes of firefighting is the most FUN thing in the world.

The crap part is overhauling the site.

/thread
SHOCKER it's now a bunch of military, firefighters, and cops talking about how badass they are. kill yourselves, faggots. you are the glorified janitors of society. good for nothing else, we call on you to deal with the scum and shit you deserve to deal with

Why not just be a firefighter in the military

Yep that's my boys. I'm in there in a pic or two as well hehe.
Got plenty of stories. Anything in particular you wanna know? Just can't go into detail about certain things.

Rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them

Basically just drive around in a beater car and provide intelligence for patrol units. Sometimes people will make you though, and you have to GTFO before shit goes south.

Terrifying might not be the right word, but I came to love doing initial attacks after getting over the fear my first couple of times.

You ever been ambushed by the enemy or had a mission go wrong?

From back when Christ was just a corporal

But you are armed in those assignments, no?

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

No but in that scenario you often have a group of officers nearby to save you, just try not to get killed by angry criminals until they can get to you. Story Time: My instructor once was working undercover to bust a woman who had asked her friend to get someone who would kill her bedridden husband, as you can guess she wanted the life insurance. When my instructor met up with her she couldn't go through with it and asked him to just leave. They couldn't prosecute her.

Any national guard fags

Hell yeah I'm armed. I carry a Glock, two spare mags and armor, your radio is the most important thing to have though, since it summons friends with bigger guns.

literal welfare queens

Go back to safe cubicle faggot

I did a stint in the state defense force. It was glorified as being an organised state militia, to defend Alaska from potential foreign tyranny, but in reality it was sort of like a volunteer affiliate of the AK national guard, acting as a jack of all trades rapid response task force for any disaster that could possibly hit.

Gotta watch out for those sneaky Canadians

Late christmas present on me guys go fuck your ex gf tonight - snap-leak-cf

No we always carry a main and a secondary.
Like a standard issue Ak 5C (5.56) and the good old Pistol 88 (Glock 9mm). But no LMG's or anything. Sometimes a long range rifle like the (Psg 90) in 7,62.
But limited on ammo, limited on crew and backup. And not everyone carries the same gear.
Some missions have been done with super light gear though, but can't discuss those.
