really like the melody that the piano is playing throughout loneliness. In fact, all of your melodies are really good.

I was playing Vampires:The Masquerade to this. :)
Fit well

y Band A Thousand Hours just released our debut album this last Friday. If you like bands like Low, Slowdive, The Cure, Red House Painters and all the classic 4AD bands, as well as shoegaze, check it out.
Harmonic Forest (harmonicforest.bandcamp.com) Tho I'm not acxtually here to shill that page or the content on it, more drum up hype for an upcoming project by posting demo recordings of the songs featuring on it.
>soundcloud.com/nathanoriginal/progression fuck yes. Boom bap is my jam, is this you on the vocals? I 'm impressed byt he quality of the production if it is. Might be a little busy for my tastes but it accentuate the quiter sections where the track winds down. Will be hecking out the rest.
>soundcloud.com/hypnoso Nostalgy is fucking great, was put off by walking home as it seemed rather...lacking? but Nostalgy more than made up. Lonliness is another that sticks out, quite the pair they make back to back. Intoxicated had a wierd vibe for me, like, in places it worked but t felt rather jarring, maybe asnchronous? the drum beat was nice tho. The beat was the worst one for me, I get that it was meant to be bombastic but i dunno, maybe it was just not my thing.
>youtube.com/watch?v=NMV12afoC2c I actually dig this production, it's got a very chill vibe with some of that chopy elements often seen in hip hop. Maybe it dragged on a little? I dunno, I could listen to this sort of stuff in 10+ hour compilations, y'know? I guess the effectiveness of the vocals can be debated but like, it fels like a long guitar solo that dones't get old.
>soundcloud.com/prismadoll Some of this stuff is pretty decent but the niche of cacophonic sample based music was off putting to me. I can get why someone looking for something in the vein of vaporwave/sample-based muzak but wants it to be harsher or louder would vibe with what you do.
>yamir.bandcamp.com/album/mullv-d >A Study In Noise - I'll be honest, I was expecting something a little harsher, I was expecting it really jump out and bite into me, but it seemed a lot more mellow. Especially given the tracks name >For Keiji - Drums were spectacular, and I'm seeing more of those harsher tones lacking from the first track peaking through in the guitar work here. >Mullväd I - Introduction - This felt more like just the opener to a generic rock track than anything noise, it feels harsh judging each of these individually >Mullväd II - Panic - HOLY MOTHER OF God, where were you hiding that fucking noise throughout the rest of this? Jesus that's nice. A+ >Mullväd III - Aftermath - Much like pt.2 I love the acoustic guitar strung throughout these, this is a nice coencept too, like taking through the stages of an atomic explosion. I appreciate this series of songs greatly. >Mullväd IV - Retaliation - Oh fuck yes. This shit slaps, I can't even describe it. I love hte way it pulls back towards the end. >Mullväd V - Finale - A very wierd, but very chill ending to the anthem depicting nuclear destruction.
>m.soundcloud.com/gotchagang/big-joke I liked the production, but non american rappers feel....odd? to me, I dunno, your accent indicates you aren't, atleast ethnically, of american origin.. mBut, despite having the oppertunity to give a unique take on hip hop with your own authentic cultural identity, you basically just riff off of what yanks do, like, you need to be more true to your life and the things you have experienced, that is what will get people in.
>cruduxcruo.bandcamp.com/ I only listened to the latest album (Pestis Cruento) The music is nothing like the album art, good god dude, this stuff is so relaxed and chill, it's the musical equivelant of a water-feature, even the more synthetic parts. I'm curious about what you try to achieve with your records and why you went with the aesthetic you did? Waiting fro storm clouds is my fav btw.
>soundcloud.com/przmlr/who-me oh nice, I like chop and screw and lo-fi hip hop so this was a pretty decent sell to me. Shame that you don't got a rapper to put over the top of it. But if you wanna be more appreciated an instrumental artist without a rapper, then I'd suggest stretching the length or putting more of the same sort of stuff into a long mix so it can be listened to whilst doing other things.
>youtube.com/watch?v=okpA7Uz6Oq4 Very interesting choices for the samples, not really seen much like that in r&b from what I can tell. Love the synth angle to it too, very cool. The vocals are good but sometimes hard to decipher, making me wonder what the lyrics are, y'know?
>onethousandhours.bandcamp.com/album/endless-grey I feel like I'm not in the right mindset to enjoy this but I'll give it a shot >Endless Grey I liked the droning in this song, the guitar is nice, but the vocals, tho very wispy, selling an aesthetic, become unintelligable at times I can appreciate it, but if the track is too busy it might put off some listeners. >B I love this, the opening drone making returns throughout the song is a + in my book. Like the addition of more guitar tracks too. >Ship The opening bassline just straight up makes this record so good, as an anchor by which everything else sticks to, this track si probably my fav in the album >Moments Eh, I'm starting to tire of the vocals here, it's all sounding so similar, the instrumentation is as on point as ever, though a wierd step down from Ship >Tender Ooh, a stark contrast to the rest of the album. Very inriguing indeed, the vocal effects no longer feel boring in a different setting, tho still as unintelligable as ever >Hold Nice use of piano, but it feels lacking, noting it's coming straight after one of the more unique and interesting to listen to tracks on the album that doens't help its case >Down This is very nice, in how it builds from calm to cacophonic (tho light in that sense, nothing harsh or too noisey, just nice, nice and harmonic) This is another fav track of mine form this album >Flood Oh wow, another sudden change in tone for the album, I'm not sure I like the inconsistency but a departure from the front half of the albums sound is welcome indeed >The Desolate Hour More inline with the prior track, it's like you recorded two projects and stitched them together, one being far more guitar driven than the rest. I like it tho, I must say the coherant instrumentation is lovely, as is the way you close off this track >Rainy Days More inline with the earlier tracks, not really my thing >Closure Easily the best track!
>soundcloud.com/krunch/looking-glass in all honesty, I really like the riffs but I'm not sure about vocals.vocal style is actually fitting with the music but i don't know, maybe it's just me. cool song tho
Juan Brooks
maybe my last one, as the last album I reviewed took up an entire posts word count.
>soundcloud.com/sansera/holes Very neat, I like the production, it's very high quality, tho a little bare imo. It's the sort of music owl city or a laid back gorillaz track might have. The lyricism seems nice, tho I didn't get the message, assuming there was enough substance for there to be one
>Shaus.bandcamp.com >Fail, Slur, Slumber Very bombastic, a great way to level the listeners expectations for the rest of the record based on the first track >Out of the Snail I much prefer the guitar here to the guitar int he first track, far more noisey of an opening >300R The second longest song on the album, pretty interesting, you caa instantly tell why,the instrumentation is far more spread out and given breathing room, which is a nice chop up to the short and swet that the rest of the music offered here uses. I appreciate not holding off on the volume tho. The ending makes this my fav track of the album >Gambigorn much like the song before it, you can tell why this song is long compared ot the rest, with it's thumping drum and minimal approach to guitar rifs. The volume builds throughout all this track which I absolutely love. but the ending is just a little weak, much harsher than the rest, certainly, but I feel the volume has to match or it loses something
>soundcloud.com/iluminatimusic/kings-landing Very minimal in its approach but I liked the syth/sample used throughout, not much to add beyond that, could maybe do with some more alteration besides just getting quieter at a point, maybe some more instrumental flaire when it resumes at a regular volume
>pedicurerecords.bandcamp.com/album/pd049-jelulite Oh hell yes, so harsh yet listenable, the way you format the different tracks to just be one track might be a bit obnoxious or confusing but it's certainly unique.

thanks for the feedback mate, drop your link and i'll check you out
thank you so much for the kind words, i'm setting the mood/vibe when you're playing video games or playing tabletop RPG's. It's Dungeon Synth so i'm trying to create a magical atmosphere.

clyp.it/42usppsy Recorded the drums for this on Saturday. They got a little fucked in the middle part because i was a bit drunk. No vocals or bass yet but thats to come. Let me know what you think. I play the drums and guitar on this. I have 5 other songs that have drums and guitar as well. I'd classify it as prog/psychedelic/hard rock

clyp.it/iv3gmneu heres another one. This one has some odd time signatures
This was just made by a bunch of my friends. It's a 9 or 10 piece band with two dedicated rappers and a lot of vocals from the other members of the band. It's a lot of fun so I hope someone out there digs it
>trip-hop, psychedelic kinda >original (no samples)
>soundcloud.com/mwgli/children-of-the-sun "Children of the Sun" is some sick work, dude. haven't heard anything like it before, like how everything just warps out throughout the track, and the good feel of it. nice rhythm too.
This is really fun, and I can tell that you guys had a lot of fun doing this. Do you guys do gigs and stuff? The percussion on when i leave i is probably my favorite thing about the track itself. Like some of the comments on soundcloud, some of the synths were really cool sounding, and it had a pretty consistent tone and mood to it, which I think is the most important thing about this kind of music. I like the chords on the rural oregon track, and the page turn moment, whether that was intentional or not. The vocals I'm not really a fan of, and I can't tell if the whole thing was recorded just improv. My vocals are kinda bad too, so I know the pain of trying to record vocals. They just seem kinda annoying is all. The lyrics I like too.
Grayson Williams
I try to do my best to bring you some cloud rap beat, please tell me if it's cool, I just opened my channel and nobody is watching my videos...
I'm Once again I'm not actually part of the band, but they play shows all over the city and they're extremely popular in the house show/college kid scene.
They have the most energy I've ever seen on stage from a non-professional act
I appreciate that quite a bit. I'd be lying if I said I think that it's good singing, but I'd like to think it's supposed to be unique. Like the style of the vocals, the way I use my voice, is less about being properly done and more about being uniquely pretty and different. That being said, I am proud of myself as a lyricist because I've been writing for a long time. And the more I write the better I get. Thnx
Oh also I think End Scene is a really really good blues song if the vocals weren't so goddamn awful.
haven't posted in a cool minute because i've been very busy. feel like i'm going crazy but oh well. soundcloud.com/dasjchvxbzvc7/can-you-get-away >boom bap >sample based >really chopped up >nice sub bass(?) i'll try really hard to give feedback but bear with me because i'm also finishing a research paper. If any of you can give mixing advice or any tips in general that'd be cool too.

Thank you! Checked out yours, love the delivery and guitar, sounds like a mix of every 80s band I liked, but in a more contemporary way. I hear a lot more music theory/knowledge under the surface going on for the genre than you probably let on, impressed, keep it up.
