As well, I need to get this CBR300 off my hands already, which I'll need about $500 or so to get the dealer to buy it back. Depreciation a shit and I should've bought used, but that was a mistake on my part I guess. Live and learn and all that.

However you look at it, you got a good eye for what you want to do. Further down the line it may be worth applying for a cash back credit card. If you're disciplined, you can charge all of your normal expenses on the card, pay the balance in full weekly, and pay no interest while reaping the rewards. Emergency funds are handy to have, I wouldn't shoot much further beyond 3-6 months of living expenses once debts are paid off. Certainly not in amounts that would exceed a sensible emergency fund for a big car/home repair.

On the other hand, these low interest rates will favor you when you go back to school if loans are necessary. Same with any other loan or mortgage for that matter. If you have/get good credit, you can negotiate on your terms and take your business elsewhere if it's not worth your time.
