why are you asking on Sup Forums wouldn't it be better to ask this on some female forum? what other point is there to play for guitar, if not to impress ladies? it's the one situation where their opinion matters
Very simple but one of my favorites.
Depends really? Would you call yourself a beginner, experienced or a master?
For the beginner I recommend songs like "No woman no cry" by bob marley. It has chords and basic fill-ins. A good practice tune.
For the experienced player, I'd say get you some good blues tunes. It will really teach you to assert yourself on the pentatonic scale. ANd no one No-one asserts like hendrix asserts, Purple haze is a damn fine tune to practice.
Your a master then eh? Look for a bit more challenge? Pick up anything by Dave Matthews and begin to wonder if this dude wasn't some kind of alien, with his strange choice of patterns and scales.
lol i dont play to impress ladies. i play cause i enjoy playing
im not a master. but i would say im experienced you got any finger style stuff thats what i mainly play
that doesn't sound good at all
You shouldn't lean on guitar. Might knock over.

Jason Becker - Perpetual Burn
Honestly , like how some anons have been saying , it depends on skill level
If your just starting out , learn "house of the rising sun" , the boring ass fingerstyle version. Then once you learn the chord shapes spice it up by playing it to ypur own rhythm.
If you kinda know your shit , go for some hard rock/metal stuff. There easy to play and impress people with. And some of them teach you important shit for later on like triplets , galloping , powerchords and wtf a 5th is.
And if you know your shit and just wanna improve , learn jazz.
Or do what i did and went on a chord finder website and just looked up complicated ass guitar chord names and learned them and what it mean'd.
Ik you said songs and i started rambling bullshit so heres some.song in order kf diffculty
"House of the rising sun"
AC/DC - let there be rock
AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Metallica - one
Pantera - cowboys from hell
Megadeth - holywars
Yes - Roundabout (advanced fingerstyle / slap guitar)
"Authmn leaves" (jazz guitar)
Dragonforce - ttfaf (learn everything but the solos and your set)
And finally anything from any technical or progressive rock/metal band
And honestly while your learnibg these things your more then likely gonna be messing about on guitar and come up with your owm shit to practice and make you better
Best of luck to you user , enjoy your music.
