glad that's over desu
it was pretty okay 2bh
you meant those shitty dance music with a lot of euro synth sounds. it was as shitty as autotunes/edm crap. britpop music totally sunk.
Artists like Daft Punk still have a pretty 90s-like feeling. Kavinsky even feels like the 80s for instance youtube.com
I guess 90s music and dance music just largely evolved though, and part of why people enjoy 90s music is that it brings back memories of a more innocent time when people still had weird haircuts instead of the undercuts with gel and other plain stuff that we see now.
Everything seemed to have more colour in the 90s as well, not just because the TVs only showed very bright colours.
>youtube.com
Am I retarded for thinking that the sound in the beginning is cassette being inserted into car radio instead of coins in payphone ?
90s were fun, I was a kid back then. In 2001 I was 14 and I was listening to this youtube.com
It clearly sounds metallic, a cassette has a softer plastic sound.
I remember them hardly making any sounds when you inserted them, but the cassette player would make a little humming sound when it ate the little things.
>90's
>Euro music
The tunes of cheap Chinese toys have forever burned a hole into my brain.

Better than 00' music, for sure
youtube.com
Is basshunter still relevant? Boten Anna and Dota are really kickass songs.
Like I have to hear that from a fucking swede, just for being nostalgic towards the 90s
youtube.com
AFAIK his career flunked when he mistranslated all his songs into romantic english ones
youtube.com
I still don't understand why he'd do that.
HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS
HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD IN HIS HANDS
HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS
HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS

we were nearing the new millennium at the speed of sound.
oh shit wrong genre
>Everything seemed to have more colour in the 90s as well, not just because the TVs only showed very bright colours.
well LSD was still common back then
this song was main theme of EPL broadcasts in my country, it fucking got timeless space in my subconciousness.

his lyrics were very very nice, so he probably a nice guy too
youtube.com
overly unisoned euro synth tunes were mostly a piece of shit. they were only rarely good in games or for laughs. they all were using the same preset sounds like autotune garbage.
He's already dead, sadly.
not euro, but was waifu material
i see. RIP
fuck no
this is what happened to eurodance: replaced by niggers

Nah, it's because they were at the peak of the "rad" phase. Then they realised "rad" was shit and they went gritty in the 2000's. Then they realised gritty was shit and moved on to the minimalism in the 2010's. It's only a matter of time before minimalism became shit.
thanks and good night

Eiffel 65 now

that cant even be a satire. genuine mainstream euro shits especially italian ones were worse and more annoying than that. im talking about mainstream euro synth crap not underground club music.
hey Daviddo-kun

YOU LISTEN UP HERE'S A STORY
sounds like trash. when will these assholes stop using autotune.
it was an american artist who popularized autotune though

(1) Zladko “Zlad” Vladcik was to perform his very popular techno-ballad, “Elektronik – Supersonik” - described as “a melodic fusion combining hot disco rhythms with cold war rhetoric”, in this years Eurovision Song Contest.
However, the 23-year-old singer was arrested at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport and immediately deported. While Eurovision does not normally test for recreational drugs, unfortunately for Vladcik, Turkish Customs do.
On his return, “Zlad” apologised to everyone in Molvania for letting them down, especially his family, his friends and his dealer.
“ZLAD” – A SHORT HISTORY
Zladko “Zlad” Vladcik rose to prominence in 2002 when he won Molvanian Idol in controversial circumstances - the other finalist, Ob Kuklop, pulled out due to a serious throat condition after one of the judges tried to strangle him.
“Zlad” immediately released the megahit, “Juust Az I Amm” – hailed by Rolling Stone as the most incorrectly spelt song of all time.
After barely 2 days on the Molvanian “Rhythm & Polka” charts, the track went platinum – remarkable considering it was only available on cassingle.
Then, in an exciting move, “Zlad” formed supergroup Wow! But while on their very first tour, he decided to go solo again, citing the fact that the rest of the band was “moving in a different direction” (Romania).
(2) Gay ass player in FFXI who doesn't know what he's doing. Wants to be a Ranger/Warrior which will never work. Says "playah" a lot. His friends are sexy.
"Hey baby, wake up from your asleep. We have arrived onto the future, and the whole world has become... Elektronik Supersonik, Supersonik Elektronik."
>russians emulating niggers

Kinda funny, all in all.
You may be lost, this isn't Sup Forums.
not a fan of him but his old songs where better in my opinion
youtube.com
You had to look towards the UK for the slightly less cheesy pop-dance music.

You now remember Trance's golden age
today literally every """artist""" uses that piece of shit. it got released 10 years ago or so but they all still do without any change. no matter whether it comes out of 1st world or 3rd world, arr sound the same. it even shows how corrupt and stagnated the music in 1st world countries is.
not bad, and that explains how it actually works today. this shits soulless af in music and has become literally a meme tier tool like that.
more like, YGYL thread?
excellent playlist
but brit EDM lost their wind by the 2000s, getting beaten by shit anthem-trance from the mainland and american dubstep. a pity
>american dubstep
England invented dubstep, unfortunately according to some. Like many genres of music Britain invents, America takes and waters it down so it's a bit shit. There's still a good dance music scene here.
baby
hear me tonight
oops my bad
but yeah techno and rave survive somehow
i like this one better:
youtube.com
not technically 90s
Neither is this, but it's iconic nonetheless:
America invented house music and the basis for EDM
HELL NO mate, he's still performing though, giving concerts in russia
how does he feel about his meme status? did he take it nicely like Eduard Khil?
greedy EMI don't want russians to listen to daft punk
youtube.com
use alternatives then
vimeo.com
I don't think Eduard Khil cared much about his meme status, he died in 2012 & was already 77 at that time.
For the Vitas, his main audiens are 40+ lonely females who don't know much about his internet fame
yeah but i saw an interview in 2011 where Khil appreciated his new fans even tho he didn't understand the memes about it
so i unno, someone show VITAS this video or whot youtube.com
he does have a great voice tho, you should appreciate him more and do more memes/remixes of him
why thank you, I can use the one from my harddrive tho
my mom used to blast this garbage for hours non stop.
Nothing wrong with the 00ies, for sure
keep it euro please, not that gipsy-tier crap
Lls Kys Lucio

what is the song that has a lady and a fat dude in a safari jeep
The only part that I could recall was
Lady: Da da da da da dee dum
Da da da da da dee dum
Da da da da da dee dum da dum
Man: Oo weee oo wee yoo
that song was chosen "Song of the Year" in my country
this one wasn't, but i loved it youtube.com
