Hi, depressed overweight fucking idiot here, I'm living at my mums house, 18, been sitting in my room for 4 years playing League, I want to leave my house and not be fat and autistic for once, but where the fuck do I start? I have no friends, no job, live in a town where there's fuck all to do besides get cut up and put in wheelie bins or something, but I'm so depressed and sitting here by myself like a faggot every second of my life is making me feel sick, any of you Sup Forumsros got any idea what I should do?

Start with one thing at a time. Preferably something that will help with the other bits. I recommend losing weight first.

Losing weight like the other user said is great, but also what I found useful was getting into a social circle that had really low pressure like a book club. You'll meet people that are really different but you'll have something to talk about.

Check local libraries or book stores.

The main reason I recommend this first is it is a good way to start having 'small wins' in your life.

You are currently feeling shit. When you track your weight (weigh every day) and you work hard at it, you start to see positive results quickly.

This means, day to day, week to week you are directing your efforts towards something. When you start seeing results quickly you start feeling good about yourself.

Once you feel a bit better about yourself, the other stuff (socialising etc) becomes slightly easier

Also, I've been losing weight pretty decently. 75% BMR drops 1-2 lbs a week. That's healthy weight loss.
Protip: Count weekly calories, don't obsess over it every day. That just gets you stressed and makes it easier to beat yourself up.

Good advice in this thread, screenshot it and write a list out afterwards of the good ideas and try them out.

There is a documentary made by another aussie who felt like you, called "Fat, Sick and Rready to die" - it is about how he solved his weight loss, and him wanting to help others - so he travels to America to talk to fat people there.

His regime is to blend all his food, and eat a varied selection of organic vegetables, and walk every day.

Walking is an awesome exercise, it also puts you outside and for me it clears my mind and i feel a lot better after a while.

Swimming is good too and nice for variety, also takes the stress off your joints and is relaxing.

Start a good habit of that. Drink plenty of water, eat veggies, dark green are the best, but a variety is the way to go.
Then lean organic meat, chicken is good.
Minimal carbohydrates, and a little bit of healthy fats each day, cheese, olive oil, egg - but just a little to keep things balanced.

Avoid anything with sugar or any kind of junk food.
It is easier to stop one thing at a time, and change it for something good for you.
Your taste buds will adapt to the new foods after a few weeks of eating it every day. You'll begin to like it.

To build your confidence, join a social club without pressure or stress. Like a book club once a week as someone else said.

Study something new and work hard at it.

Aside from that, find a job and start saving money. If you spend the money, invest it in yourself, in training or the good healthy food.

Find ways to challenge yourself.

For exercise, don't strain yourself, stick to about 85% of your maximum and build it up bit by bit.

Be positive, you are young and have the right attitude, make it happen.

If you have trouble finding work,,volunteer for things for a few months, it boosts your cv, you gains experience and make contacts.

user seriously, get in the fucking gym. It's not hard, get on fit and ask for help if you have to or just YouTube it. Just get over the fact that regular going people are gonna be stand offish because new years resolution fans, but if they see you in there trying your best, they'll even help. You can easily make friends in the gym and slowly your confidence will rise, which is key to getting out of your rut.

First thing i would recommend to you is: Stop drinking coke fanta or shit like that, just get sirup you can thin with water, it tastes almost as good bu doesnt have that much filthy stuff.

2nd, get a dog (preferably from a shelter), no chihuaha no Husky, something in between a Border Collie or so.

First, not drinkin any lemonades will prepare you for aour next steps.

Because of the dor you will get a feel for youself and more social, also the dog gives syou a opportinity to go outside or in the woods, also it helps you losing weight.

I was in your exact same position, But i stopped drinking and eating bullshit, stopped playing lol (There are other games) i was out alot before is tarted pleaing leage (but still i was chubby) but i was in contact with girls and they talked to me. so then i didnt like the taste of coke anymore and stopped drinking it, thats when i first losed some weight. then a gil on fb messaged me (which told me she saw me so many times outside in the city or there and there bt was to shy to go up to me ( i never noticed her wtf? and i thought i am the one who never gots noticed?????) then we started chatting on fb and met up at the cinema. we got together and she moved into my room at my moms flat. 3 months later my family organozed a nice flat for me and my gf that we can afford and we moved there, 3 months later we got a Dog. that was 2 years ago. Now i am still not bigger than 1:70 but am 66kg now and it feels way better. i am still with my gf and the dog.
generallyi feel really good now i just have to find a job now and my life should be soon almost perfect.
