Why do atheists have funerals?
Why do worshippers of atheism get dressed up in suits, dress up the CORPSE ITSELF in a suit, hold moments of silence/reflection, all in a formal ceremony for what the atheist religion dictates is nothing more than decomposing matter?

Atheism is not something you worship. If they're atheists it doesn't mean they are sociopaths/psychopaths not to feel empathy.

Atheists can reflect on that persons life and their memories they have of them. It's the last image someone will ever have of that person, who was probably once an important part of their life.

I've worked in a funeral home for a couple years. There are a few religions that perform rituals in order to be accepted into their heaven, but for atheists the funeral is solely for the families closure.
What a waste of money. These "atheists" should just admit that they have deeply held spiritual feelings.

I'll be fair though and satisfy your curiosity, Roll threads have been a thing since about 2011 or 2012 they were unpopular at the time but the years 2013 & 2014 were turbulent years for people who posted here without watching their statements.
The other strong cancers currently include the "andy sixx" fag who spams at least 4-6 threads each day. He doesn't get that nobody else cares.
We should acknowledge and promptly ignore the "how do we compete"/"Black men masterrace"/"you jealous white boi?" threads that appear each day at specific times. This has been proven to be an acclimation attempt by people of Sup Forums and Sup Forums at different times.

If you want to be technical almost everything that is here now is some sort of cancer. Porn was disliked by some because it had other boards to be in where it wasn't, then people raided those threads with "females" who in later shots were revealed to have dicks, these "traps" were to get people to fap to men in attempts to reduce the problem.

incest threads are also one of the thread types that has been known cancer in the past. They were often raided by spiderman in droves because the number of posters and the popularity of Sup Forums allowed users to flood the thread and quickly reach the image limits.
"Furry" threads are a known cancer that has escaped containment. I am certain that at least a few of their threads were on /d/ before (simply because of what other anons have said about that board). It is unknown why they have migrated to Sup Forums.
One issue plaguing Sup Forums in its current iteration is the fact that many of the threads are repeats, dull things like "fb fap" or "[state name here] girls" threads that nobody really gives a fuck about.
Cancer comes in many strengths and quantities.
Judgment of strength is simple, is it bait? Does it want to make you feel you must reply? (ex, "white boi") If you can consistently say yes than it is successful in its aims.
Does it pop up each day and how much?
the "andy sixx...shit log" threads pop up in high quantity without any real change over time. this is persistence... if it comes back in number it comes back in number each day it makes it duller here by filing some of the 150 slots threads may occupy on this board.
Given the other filler content though subtracting 5-10 threads from the number of possibly good threads by wasting that space is a way to try to agitate anons. if they react the thread is bumped and lasts longer, taking up the space over more time.

Overall this is how I would rank the cancer:
1. "Black men"/"white boi"
It is targeted, it is daily, in number, but spread over time. It has two goals first coerce response and second get anons used to seeing interracial couples. (particularly with black males and white females)
2. "Andy sixx fecal fantasy"
This one appears in number like a shotgun spread over the catalog. The threads have little staying power but remain persistent because of how they are spammed. they appear daily.
3. The [state name]/facebook-fap threads
They are persistent and surprisingly often non-pornographic. However they are occupants of space that are typically hit or miss in terms of poster numbers.
4. The athiest prodding threads like this.
These have bait as the primary objective. The idea is to bait replies by use of logical fallacy. Intentionally making mistakes, believing unfounded statements, producing false statements to back up their side of an "argument" that never really existed.

5. is a spot reserved for shota/loli/furry/"trap"/futa
Five is in stasis an eternal well of smut that appeals to various people. Threads appear daily only to be ignored. see 5.5
6. is probably ylyl (the first descending or dying cancer)
The concept is not terrible, give them humor and let them be honest, if they laugh they lose..
The quality of the content is absolutely unbearable at present. It is cringy at best and scarcely ever amusing. I even tried to help out one or two of their threads with but id nobody else is posting anything decent it is easier to let the thread die and likely be spammed by the people who don't get that some threads die for a reason.
How long? The image seems to have been around forever... this use though seems to be possibly as early as 2014 but at least since 2015.

Back amidst 2013 and 2014s turbulence between mods/admins and anons these threads gained popularity, They offered incentive, "dubs decides what I say", "roll to fap", "roll to save the world from gigga-nigga"..... But over time it became less so. Now half of the roll threads are centered around getting dubs, trips, quads, and so on (or avoiding getting them) for no payoff.

But as for the first matter, I'm beginning to think these threads are completely for the purpose of trolling. First of all, there are many of these kind of threads that are obvious spoofs and parodies, created by atheists, most likely, and for the purpose of trolling. But over time, I'm beginning to question all of these kind of threads, that is, both the obvious and unobvious.

Funerals are not for the dead, they are for the living. The friend and family need closure, and I have not met an athiest yet who has 100% of their loved ones who were also athiests.

You clean and "dress" the meat before roasting. Atheists have no reason not to eat their dead. According to Apicius the Roman chef, the Romans preferred pork over other meat because it tasted like human flesh. Go for it. It's only a misdemeaner to abuse a corpse. And, if you claim it's part of your belief system, even that can't be imposed because it would violate freedom of religion.

Very true, the person(s) behind them, and their belief or disbelief is irrelevant, because they appear to be permanent. As for the second bit, Sup Forums is never lacking in critics, and usually brainless ones. For real, there are times it seems somebody is always trying to get your goat. Also, in my experience here, it seems that after fighting for a brief amount of time, an user is quick to abandon the debate/fight that they started; maybe this is because of their short attention spans, or perhaps something else.
