Sup Forums casts the Star Trek TNG reboot

Sup Forums casts the Star Trek TNG reboot.

Idris Elba

wat. like that's a lot of no name actors to put in there.

As Worf?

as worf or the blind nigga?

YFW its both

AS EVERYBODY

Karl Urban would make a better Ryker than he is as Bones

Ryan, The Goose, as Wesley Crusher

Jim Parsons as Data

Wallace as Geordie

Sir Patrick Stewart as Picard

Idirs Elba as Worf

Michael Fassbender as Data. Say want you want about Prometheus but Fassbender carried that film.

Tommy Cruise as Ryker

Ice Cube as La Forge

>Ice Cube as La Forge
>I didn't even have to re allign the EPS conduits
>today was a good day

That might actually work

Sean Bean as ryker.

>"Captain the fucking engines are down mang"

> Fassbender Fassbending Rodriguez

Fassbender's acting style completely prevents him from *not* showing obvious emotion. He was OK in Prometheus, but it was not a good android-type-character performance in a classic sense; David really looked like a manipulative, condescending asshole fully enjoying dicking around with people

Well Ryan Gosling was my second option for Data

The Goose or Cillian Murphy

Make Paul Anderson Ryker

Picard = Bryan Cranston
Riker = Bradley Cooper
Crusher = Scarlett Johansson
Troi = I have no idea
Data = I have no idea
Geordi = John Boyega
Worf = Idris Elba
Tasha = I don't know
Wesley = Maybe the older kid from Jurassic World?

>"Mr. LaForge we might be damaged in the upcoming battle"

>""Better check yoself before you wreck yoself"

Picard: Jason Statham
Doctor Crusher: Julianne Moore
Laforge: Michael Ealy
Yar: Sara Paxton
Troi: Vanessa Ferlito
Data: Ryan Goseling
Worf: Idris Elba
Wesley: Cameron Boyce
Riker: Tom Mison

>"Bridge to Engineering"
>"Captain why the fuck did you let us get shot at? You pasty ass white boy shouldn't be captain"

ellie kendrick as Troi

...

>Data: I believe that the resulting explosion would surpass The Big Bang
>Picard: Are you sure?
>Data: In theory.

>know her from GoT
>look her up
>thought she was a teenager
>she's actually 26

Well.

Kat Dennings as Troi

Well it looks like we all agree on Idris Elba as Worf.

that reminds me
Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Wesley (26 as well)

>Worf speaking with a south london accent
this could be interesting

I'm thinking Jessie Eisenburg as Q.

Captain - Idris Elba
Councillor - Lance Reddick
Doctor - Omar Epps
First Officer - Chiwetel Ejiofor
Science Officer - Tory Kittles
Chief of Security - Michael B. Jordan
Comms - Zoe Saldana
Navigator - John Boyega

Wasn't Worf raised in Russia? Why did he never have a Russian accent?

He would be a great Picard. Not even cuckposting. He can pull off characters who have a warm yet unflinchingly commanding pressence, and are at the same time capable of intense emotion and menacing righteousness.

Patrick Stewart as Jean-Luc Picard

He was speaking in Russian the whole series, but he was ashamed of his accent so he set the universal translator to eliminate it when translating him to English.

Terrible casting. Doesn't look nearly old enough to play Picard.

Why reboot it?

It'd be better to make a new series.

>Ice Cube as La Forge
Perfect

Picard - Seth Rogan
Riker - James Franco
Data - Michael Cera
Troi - Melissa McCarthy
Dr Crusher - Emma Watson
Worf - Dave Chappelle
Geordi - Paul Dano

Star Trek - The 420 generation

He'd make a more convincing Frenchman than Patrick Stewart, for sure

>Worf - Dave Chappelle
Nick Cannon as Duras

Paul Mooney as Mogh

Elba should be Sisko. This is known. No way should Elba be Peaceful Picard or Floor Kisser Worf.

It would be, but they'd still reboot it anyway.

Here's your TNG reboot:
>origin story
>whole crew (except Picard) is normal age, rank and position
>except Nechayev, who is captain of the Enterprise
>Cadet Picard is now the youngest and lowest-ranking character in the film
>Cadet Picard is also a troublemaker and a hothead that breaks all the rules, but it’s okay because he has great potential and a beckoning destiny
>he secretly stows aboard the Enterprise on its first mission because he wants to see a real adventure
>he gets caught, but Nechayev lets him stay as the "Captain's Assistant" because his father was a hero
>they meet Q on the first mission
>Q tests humanity, wants to know what they’re willing to sacrifice, puts them through various shenanigans and tomfooleries
>in the climactic scene of the film, Chief of Security Macha Hernandez reveals her secret dark history as chief rapist of her planet’s biggest rape gang:
>“My real name, Cadet Picard, is Tasha Yar. I changed my name to run away from my past, to escape the haunting memories of the rape gangs of my youth. I’ve committed crimes, horrors, atrocities in my time as a rapist. Now there’s only one way for me to atone for my past rapes: I have to sacrifice myself to fix the warp core and save the ship.”
>“Tasha, no, don’t, you have so much to live for!”
>“Don’t remember me for the rapist I was, Cadet Picard. Remember me for who I strive to be: A hero, like you.”
>“Tasha! Taaassssshhhhhhhaaaaaaaaa!”
>an enraged Picard challenges and defeats Q in a boxing match, saving the day
>Nechayev is promoted to admiral, Picard is promoted to captain and given command of the Enterprise
>Picard tells Data to “punch it” and they zoom off for a warp race in the Qo'noS Drift
>The Human Adventure is Just Beginning

That is juat retarded enough to get made

They should just make Voyager again but with better writing and actors.

They did. It flopped hard.

they didn't give it enough time to shine

Reboot:

Captain John Luke Pikart
Brit instead of French because muh ally muh froggy coward meme. Played by a balding Henry Cavill.

D4T4
CGI virtual liquid "metal" artificial body with the mind of it's creator downloaded into it. Voiced by Rami Malek (Mr. Robot)

William "Wild Bill" Rikers (like the island prison. Get it?)
Psychopatic serial killer with a heart of gold forced into serving as the Enterprise's First Officer. Played by Michael C. Hall.

Doctor Krucherr
Member of the Pheomelanites species, a race said to be unable to feel any empathy for other beings, she went against her own nature to become one of the best doctors in all of Starfleet. Played by Felicia Day.

>Ain't nothin' to it, the Prime Directive made me do it

Better yet, who would be the perfect Q?

Kanye

John C. Reilly

Eric Roberts

Not joking, the guy may not be able to say no to anything, but he's alway great and he gives 100% each time.

>tfw Roberts was Hades in Lost Girl and it was fucking great

Tbh id like to see another tng movie

Not gonna happen, not unless it's le reboot of TNG.

The last TNG thing (may or may not be canon) is the prequel comics to ST 2009 with Admiral Picard and Data being Captain of the Enterprise (the whole B4 thing got resolved off-screen by Data rebooting his memory in B4's body, basically killing B4. Da fuck, Data?).

Q is not supposed to sound like a mafia boss

Troy aikman

Who is the token faggot?

Roberts can sound like anyone or anything he wants be sound like. He's fucking Eric Fuckin' Roberts for fuck sake!

Courtney Love for 1000, Alex

Nemesis part 2: Years later it's revealed that Shinzon survives, the Remans rescued him, fixed the whole in his chest, gave him an artificial heart.

Shinzon, who is now old (played by Patrick Stewart) travels back in time to kill his younger self (played by Tom Hardy)

That's all I got

That's O'Brien.

eyy Picaad listen here. Dat thing dat you wanna do, eh, maybeee, you know, maybe some powerful people don't want dat to happen. And then maybe something bad happens yo you, you know what I'm sayin'? This is a pretty nice ship, is it insured? No, no I'm just breaking your balls here.

Villain movies literally killed star trek.
Star trek 6 was the only true trek movie.

Alyson Michalka as Ishara Yar

reddit, everyone

GOOD

Ariel Winter as Troi
*BRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

Patrice O'neal as Gerdie if he were still living.

You forgot the part where Cadet Picard gets stabbed in the chest and when they ask if he wants a mechanical replacement heart, with the cadet replying 'make it so'.
Or the bit where somebody offers him a cup of earl grey tea and he laughs it off as some old man's drink.

"I've always been fascinated with cyborgs. Make it so, 'borg me up."

Jennifer Love Hewitt as Deanna Troi

...

Ed O'Neill as Captain Picard
