PEMDAS is a convention that can be followed, but without proper notation (fractions) for division and brackets, the operation is undefined.

8
PEMDAS
1x0=0
3\3=1
7-0=7
7+1=8

Stop posting tubgirls you faggot.

the operation is not undefined it would be 8 if you follow PEMDAS. Start with multiplication, then division, then addition and lastly subtraction.

i wonder what she ate hahahaha

7-0=7
7+1=8

First addiction then sustraction.

6

without proper notation you can't really tell "who's" involved in "what"

example:

2*2 is obviously 4

2+1*2 would be 6 following the same logic of multiplying whole terms
2+1*2 could also be 4, if you follow PEMDAS

which is correct?

wouldnt 1xo be 1?

7 - (1 x 0) + (3 / 3)

7 - 0 + 1

7 - (0 +1) = 6

youtube.com/watch?v=piIcRV2dx7E
watch this video

that's 1+0
a*b is as follows

a+a+a (repeating b times)

so

2*2

2+2 (repeating 2 times)

4

1*0

(repeating no times)

nothing is zero
0

yet I haven't seen it being proved

addition and subtraction are done at the same time from left to right

The question was "Can you answer this?"

The answer's "yes". I just did.

watch that video because half of you are fucking autistic

you really didn't get that PEMDAS was invented did you?

example:
many times whats before * applies to what's after

so they said

do those operations with the terms immediately close to *

2*2 works
2+1*2 could lead to anything

so we use parenthesis

(2+1)*2

4+2
6

3*2
6

2+(1*2)

2+2
4

You are both wrong. Addition and subtraction are part of the same order, with subraction being the inverse operation of addition.
Which is why you from here do it from LEFT TO RIGHT
Seriously, stop being so fucking stupid.
Here is the order
First: Parenthesis "(x)"
Second: Roots and exponents "sqrt(x)" and "x^2"
Third: Multiplication and division "x*y" and "x/y".
Fourth: Addition and subtraction "x+y" and "x-y"
If the remaining operations coincide on the same order (first, second, third or fourth) you go from left to right.

>7-1*0+3/3
Multiplication and division first, left to right.
>7-0+1
Addition and subtraction is the only thing left, left to right.
>7+1
>8

this

You are ruining OPs bait thread.

How people managed to get baited by mathematics is beyond my scope. They should try baiting with quotients and see if people bite on to that shit. People tend to forget those rules more often.

how the fuck do you get 6??

8

there's the classic รท in this bait.
is it all divided by 3 or only 3 divided by 3

we'll never know, because algebra can't work with ambiguous inputs

Yes, i have 1000000 times no money. I'll sure be very rich then :^]

This isn't algebra. This is basic notation. It's not even math technically.

=7 + (-1)0 + 3/3
=7 + 0 +1
=8

13 /thread

Yeah, it is a bullshit symbol. Simply using quotients only and using ":" for proportions is way easier.

Personally, I interpret it as a division sign and not a quotient sign, just as the short "/" is used as a division sign. Makes more sense.

7-0=7
7+1=8
7+8=15
7-80=-73
The answer is 7,81562888888883

YEEEEEE

There's a search for the correct equality.
To prove general arithmetic rules you need the artifice of algebra or you'll not account for every number.
